Prism Zenith 5 with a 43m tube tail

First flight of a home made 43 meter tube tail, On a super sunny spring day with blue sky's, using a Prism Zenith 5 (always reliable) at Wormwood scrubs west London.

The Zenith did a great job lifting such a long tail. I was a little doubtful at first. A beautiful day for flying.

I was wondering what part of the kite you attached the tube tail to? I also have a Zenith 5, and was hoping to attach a 20' tube tail, but I'm not sure what to clip it to...

What make and model reel is that? It's impossible to find a nice one like that with the strap and carabiner to tether down with where I am.

So it's summer 2022 in southern California and it's sh!t for kites. They sell kites and no kite string. Can't even find anything worth it's carbon in home Depot or Lowe's. Your kite tail is not even an option in this 150 ft kite string state. Oh, Amazon has some 1000 ft of kevlar for $13 bucks. The hell is going on in the world?? Then my ten dam dollar kite isn't even worth flying. Cheaper then the string!!!

Hi Brian, I use a braided fishing line it's light but strong, 100lb test is good for most kites, I have 1500m on my reel. It's available on Amazon for about $25. Regards Moon. 🪁🪁🪁
