It worked...just fixed the screeching sound problem as the bearing greese was dried. Added some drops of almond oil and ran first in low speed to get the oil inside the bearing and then run at full no sound.🎉❤(It is 1:20 AM in night) I can sleep now with air filled with Rogan badam smell 😅

Vegetable oil wasn't made for consumption lol. Coconut oil is light and takes heat... Why not. And it has no cleaning agents added unlike say WD-40. Which is a temporary self fulfilling prophecy.
So,my newly installed ceiling fan was generating tictic sound.changed my fan blade once but it appeared again after some time.then tried this & guess what!tictic sound was gone.used coconut oil.
WD-40 has cleaner in it ... It often cleans out the other lubricant causing a repeat problem. He used chain lube. Almost any oil would be better than WD-40 long term

Just tried this today, I use WD-40 White Lithium grease because it seems to be more suitable for bearing. Works perfectly well!
