One blade is miss aligned causing the fan to wobble hence for the creaking sound like this which is movement inside the mount. To remedy that is to bend the blade back in line with the others
I have a Harbor Breeze fan that makes a single-click sound in the evening. The fan isn't on at the time this happens. Curious if you know how to fix this problem?

No idea sorry. But if you go to the manufacturer website perhaps they have the same issue listed in their troubleshooting section…

Replace it replace that annoying ceiling fan if it’s bothering you so much just replace it
