Yes but I would save up the extra money and get some poly plates. If you are not used to running armor AR500 is going to be extremely heavy and uncomfortable for you. I had AR500 and switched to lightweight level 4 plates and then to ultra lightweight level 3 plus plates that float and are just under 3 lbs each. BIG difference from the 6 lbs lightweight plates and HUUGE difference from the 8-9 lbs AR500 plates. The difference is unbelievably. Armor doesn't do you any good if your not wearing it because it's too heavy or cumbersome. Just my advice as someone who has gone through all the different types of plates and carriers and spent a lot figuring things out. Learn from my mistakes..
I ordered the O.P.S Advanced Modular Plate Carrier System, I found the vest to be great, low profile and holds my AR500 advanced shooter cut plates perfectly. the Hypalon and 500D Cordura is very nice, I looked over the stitch quality and it is as good if not better than my 5.11 Tac Tec Plate carrier. The Hypalon is sandwiched in-between the two 500D Cordura Nylon and seems to be all through out the rig. That is outstanding... Yes, Hong Kong, seems the fabric is purchased from different Countries, of that some is from the USA, then shipped in and constructed with a higher quality than anything I have seen come out of China in the past years. I would recommend them, my OPS AMPCS is outstanding. however I have not had the opportunity to test their other gear so the only I could endorse is the before mentioned rig. Hope that helps.

Are these made in the USA or in China?
These are made in Hong Kong which by manufacturing standards is VERY different than China.
