W&R With No* Road Vehicles? Ep02

So we have helicopters, trains, ships, planes, cable cars, trams**, metros, conveyors, pipes, and probably a few things I've forgotten. Why even bother with trucks? Just because they're cheap, accessible, fuel efficient, flexible, balanced, and easy to set up, and the game is clearly built around the assumption you will use them as your default transport option? Pfft, your sensible reasons mean nothing to me.
*unfortunately there are some road vehicles we can't avoid, but
**do trams count as road vehicles?
Not too sure about my approach to this series, but I got a few episodes in before I started having doubts so might as well upload and see how you all like it. The challenge itself is definitely good fun though.

Why're you worrying about the road connections when you're not planning on using the roads?

We can't get away from road vehicles entirely unfortunately. Fire engines still need a road to get there if it goes on fire, at least until we unlock fire helicopters. Water, sewage, and trash can only be done with road vehicles too, although there's ways to cut down on that a little
