It's just single dot(s) on each layer on different spots for GUIDANCE and REFERENCE for where and how a line(s) should go and in which direction(s.), after adding the dots for reference you can create the drawing(s) on the same layer and earse the reference dot(s)... It's the same app as we all use... Your welcome.
Actual animator here. What those dots actually represents is what we refer to as key frames. These key frames dictate the flow and direction of the animation and is used for referencing how an animation should look. Once those frames are drawn there are "In between" frames that go in between those key frames that create the animation. Animation is a very tedious and depending on your frame rate and how smooth you want your animation to be 5 key frames can easily turn into well over 20 - 40 individual frames. A simple 2 - 3 second animation can take over 24 - 36 individual pictures if your doing the standard 12 fps for 2d animation. For a higher quality 24 fps is also another standard. Which is double the amount of frames. My point is this is a lot more work than what the video is portraying, and there is no function that let's you draw 4 dots and 4 frames and magically tie those together. You need a good grasp of moving images if you want to evenly make it remotely similar to what you are trying to portray. You need years of practice and visual experience to create high quality animation. That being said I love the animation haha I just wanted to provide people with more information about how animation actually works. We animators deserve a lot more credit than we actually get!
Most internet art influencers these days do these. At first it looks harmless and for entertainment/clicks (bait) sake, but I wonder if this ends up making people frustrated to find out that art isn't as simple as tiktok or shorts portray it to be.

The really impressive bit is someone had to program the tool to fill in all the gaps made but just scribbling lines on a tablet. Making it actually usable
@@keibrowse9329 they did animate the inbetween, that part just didn't make it in the video, also, the first few frames don't need inbetween, it's supposed to snap like that, you just need to animate particles fx at the end, i'ts pretty easy
