Please pray for me Im experiencing this. After my initial conversion which brought peace and clarity, right when I began attending mass again I’ve been bombarded with evil thoughts, attacks by other religions and atheists, and even doubting God. Thankfully I know God is in my heart always and He will see me through but it’s really really difficult. I’ll pray for you aswell

A timely word considering today’s bulletin regarding Democrats desire to expunge all Christian activity, except (for the moment) in one’s own home. A word in season.

This sermon inspired me to write this:
If you want God to pull you and your people out of the fire, you have to repent. We have to repent. Go back and read what Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego said as they were being lead into the fire in the book of Daniel. (Only the Catholic Bible has Azariah’s prayer- the missing link.)
They did not claim victimhood. And they acknowledged God could save them from the fire, but allowed that he might not and they were willing to burn for their God either way. And they acknowledged that they were under the yoke of an evil king because of their sin and the sins of their people, who had disobeyed God.
Preachers who lack this vital key will whip you into a frenzy, start frothing at the mouth and teach (wrongly) that it was their faith that God responded to. No. It was their humility and repentance. And they humbly, correctly, and clearly discerned that they and their people were being dominated justly. They acknowledged they deserved captivity!
The truth will set you free. But first it will piss you off.
Maybe you are in the mess you are in because of your sin. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding! Same here bro! Maybe our Church, our nation, and our people have the leaders we have, the confusion we have, the degenerate morality we have, and all the historical sufferings and even the worst atrocities in the history of mankind because we and our ancestors were dreadfully wicked?
Pagans, perverted, adulterous, greedy, religious hypocrites, disobedient, cruel, witches and sorcerers, selfish, lazy, foolish, liars, you get the drift. Keep it real. We are sinful people and we come from sinful people. The good news is Jesus loves us despite that partial list. The hard news is we have to admit our sin and repent to allow God’s infinite mercy to cover us in the promise of salvation.
    Azariah’s Prayer from Daniel 3:
“Blessed art thou, O Lord, the God of our fathers, and thy name is worthy of praise, and glorious for ever: For thou art just in all that thou hast done to us, and all thy works are true, and thy ways right, and all thy judgments true. For thou hast executed true judgments in all the things that thou hast brought upon us, and upon Jerusalem the holy city of our fathers: for according to truth and judgment, thou hast brought all these things upon us for our sins. For we have sinned, and committed iniquity, departing from thee: and we have trespassed in all things: And we have not hearkened to thy commandments, nor have we observed nor done as thou hadst commanded us, that it might go well with us. Wherefore all that thou hast brought upon us, and every thing that thou hast done to us, thou hast done in true judgment: And thou hast delivered us into the hands of our enemies that are unjust, and most wicked, and prevaricators, and to a king unjust, and most wicked beyond all that axe upon the earth. And now we cannot open our mouths: we are become a shame and reproach to thy servants, and to them that worship thee. Deliver us not up for ever, we beseech thee, for thy name's sake, and abolish not thy covenant. And take not away thy mercy from us for the sake of Abraham thy beloved, and Isaac thy servant, and Israel thy holy one: To whom thou hast spoken, promising that thou wouldst multiply their seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand that is on the sea shore. For we, O Lord, are diminished more than any nation, and are brought low in all the earth this day for our sins. Neither is there at this time prince, or leader, or prophet, or holocaust, or sacrifice, or oblation, or incense, or place of firstfruits before thee, That we may find thy mercy: nevertheless in a contrite heart and humble spirit let us be accepted. As in holocausts of rams, and bullocks, and as in thousands of fat lambs: so let our sacrifice be made in thy sight this day, that it may please thee: for there is no confusion to them that trust in thee. And now we follow thee with all our heart, and we fear thee, and seek thy face. Put us not to confusion, but deal with us according to thy meekness, and according to the multitude of thy mercies. And deliver us according to thy wonderful works, and give glory to thy name, O Lord: And let all them be confounded that shew evils to thy servants, let them be confounded in all thy might, and let their strength be broken. And let them know that thou art the Lord, the only God, and glorious over all the world.”
    ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭3:26-45‬ ‭DRC1752‬‬

They remind me of the garb of satanic "priests" and occultists. Especially when worn in Church. Keeping our faces hidden from each other and from the Lord.... In UK and Ireland we were told to keep 6 feet apart, had a "rule of 6 (people)" and were initially told that this would last "6 months". Lots of sixes...

@@SeanPatrick3001 when I’m bundled up in my winter clothing and have to wear a mask I feel like a Muslim woman in a Burka and I’m a man ; ). You’re absolutely right about church I feel it’s an affront and disrespectful to God to wear a mask in church. To sing and give the response through a mask it’s just ridiculous and I pull mine down. It has caused me to leave my old Parish and go to a new one as the old one became militant on their masking. Have a blessed Christmas and God bless us all every one.

@@ItsNotAllRainbows_and_Unicorns A mask is a mark, it is a sign it is a virtue signal. It is something the state is requiring of me to buy or to sell or two peacefully assemble. There is concrete evidence masked populations have higher infection rates than unmasked populations. Please do some research. Thanks be to God you have the right to your opinion. If we keep accepting unlawful dictates from the state we all may lose our right to our opinions. Beware of denigrating anyone who stands up for your lawful rights. The Protestants oddly quote Daniel with such regularity, one might think it's required recitation from memory as in the Torah and Jewish scholars' requirements. I don't know why. Mesrach, Asrach, and Abdnego (sp.?)...those names are rote delivery and almost always used, seemingly, to showcase their Biblical knowledge. Any thoughts on why? I have experienced this numerous times, over numerous years, without fail. Just a talking point I'm open to ideas. Blessings.

Violation of this law is a criminal offense, punishable by five years in prison or a fine of 50,000 Israeli pounds (or the equivalent in shekels).
