Amen! I was drawn to the teaching of “God wants us to be rich so that we can help other.” So I strived to be rich by working hard and building businesses. I have experienced being successful in those small businesses but then I found out that they are temporary. I searched deeply. When this pandemic hit, the last business I was into crashed and I was able to turn to God and listen to Him. I asked Him what does He really want me to do, where does He really want me to be. Long story short, I am now a Christian Life Coach and I no longer chase success but rely on God’s Will. His Divine Will is now my only treasure.

This 28 minutes changed my life. It brought clarity to questions that have been swirling around and around in my head. My spiritual director has been trying to explain this to me and this talk just let it all sink in. Praise God. I have two small children and a wonderful husband who will be benefited from the lesson I learned listening to this. All glory to God!

This priest was the absolute best. Miss his homilies/sermons very much. Miss his ability to be so real and so down to earth. Miss the fact that he could show his anger w/o sin; his playfulness w/o sin, his intelligence w/o haughtiness, his charity in all things! He had the amazing gift of being able to convict without condemning! Quite a gift from God! This sermon is an excellent example! He is a very GOOD man! God Bless you, sir!

I asked God half way through this, “but what God is my duty and what do you want me to do?!” And then the priest started talking about motherhood. I am a mother and I love being a mother and bless my children every night and pray for them and for their vocation. That then is my duty - to be a mother and to change the world one diaper at a time!! Viva Christo Rey! 🙏🏼🥰
I find, since I have really embraced the mindset for this, I am MUCH MORE AT PEACE. Life is really a lot EASIER, and more GRATIFYING, when you follow Our Lord’s call.

In the Catholic Church we have a higher vocation: virginity for the kingdom of heaven. All other works are secondary to our relationship with God. Our Ultimate Career is becoming Saints.
The first part of this talk needs to be heard by every catholic blogger/vloger.

The Bride of Christ (Catholic Church) remains faithful to Her Bridegroom, Jesus Christ. She grows in holiness for Christ is in Her midst.

Thanks be to God for answered prayers!! The guidance Fr. provided is the key to my NEXT LEVEL of formation. In a way, it's God's response to my "letting go and letting God".
Prayer for ALL our priests (deacons and seminarians too) to stay faithful to Jesus' teaching and be the shepherd He had commissioned them (and us too) to be!!
