Solid ideas, hopefully a few of them can come to fruition!

    good video.
They do have really cool water things they do at the top of mountains where they pump water up the mountain into a pool or tower using solar or wind energy, then at the end of the day they let the water fall back to the ocean and use the moving water for hydro electricity. but then again, solar panels take up way too much space relative to the energy they create.
Curacao using wind turbines might work better because they are not generally in the hurricane belt. I don't imagine wind mills would do so well in hurricanes, but then again, I could be completely wrong.
Aruba does a wonderful job at customer service. I will go back anytime. Dominican Republic on the other hand, I'd probably never go back. The customer service is super important in a place that needs tourism dollars.
Yes CoCo Cay has food as well provided, but to my knowledge you can only get there via their cruise. It is such a cool place to go though.

Regarding property and rental properties part of our inventory is locked up in probate. I know the administration is trying to untangle it to allow investors to assist in revitalization, which will create more rental inventory.

I'm from St. Thomas and have been living in Texas for the last 30 years. I love the last Idea, I would like to add to that that there should be a discount for locals, not just at a facility like the entertainment, but all shops and venues. It is time the U.S.V.I. come up to par with other islands in the Caribbean. For example, I visited the DR (Dominican Republic) and my first impression was at the airport. Their airport is 10 times better than our airport. Second impression, the resorts. They have a ton of resorts that are all-inclusive. Yes, WAPA needs to do better and come up with a better solution for power. For God, sake, this is an Island and wind is not a problem. Come on WAPA.

Mr. Blyden, it would be great if you can do a piece on the USVI240 plan.

I could see putting wind turbines offshore of Cockroach Island off the Northside, nobody goes out in that direction so it would be isolated and not visually pollute the island. Minimum wage needs to be higher. Any company that has employees taking government assistance should not get a tax break. They never should have let agriculture go. It takes special skills to grow in the VI. I remember roller skating in the early 1980s downtown by the airport, it was a lot of fun - there was a safari bus that when from Antilles (I went to All Saints too) after school on Friday and our grandmother would pick us up later that night.

Yes I, hurricane would mashup wind fields. I also think the water to energy ratio is much better with ocean floor tide farms
