I am trying to accomplish a similar goal in my house. One thing I noticed, inside the wire cover door on the T9 it says, "Do NOT connect wire to W for heat pump". It appears you did. Did your heat work? If not, where does the white wire connect?
I sert up the other sensor in my son's room, which is a middle-sized room. I didn't want the room to be too big or small. If too small, the sensor will register hot as the bigger rooms are still colder. If too big, the smaller rooms will get too hot. So i tried to balance by putting the second sensor in a medium-sized room
@@letsdiy2gether239 how well is it working for you? I’m looking to do same, with the sensor in the master bedroom. Are you happy with how it’s working out? Thx for the video.
@@philb2798 Umm, i wouldn't say it worked great, but i do think it helped. I think you have to be selective on where your thermostats and sensors are set up to optimize how it works

I do not have a heat pump. Best to check your manuals to ensure the right wire is in the right place for your system
Where was the dual sensor set up?
