    As long as women give birth to babies (duh!) there will be a gap in CEOs and wages.
    Women also don't take dangerous, high paying jobs.
    Some idiots even think that NBA and WNBA players should be paid the same.

      Yeah maybe if wnba brought in the same amount of money as nba they would be paid the same.

    • @GenXstacker
      @GenXstacker 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It drifts in from other Chinese cities. The entire region of Asia is covered in Chinese smog. Sometimes it blows all the way to the other side of the planet.

    In China, bank loans are more like equity than debt. Borrowers repay banks when they can. If a bank cannot honour withdrawal request, the bank borrows from the Bank of China, and repays that loan when it can. If necessary, China will print money and give it to troubled banks. The people know this, so there are no runs on banks. This works well, because Chinese households are huge savers, at least up to now.
    But one day, China's defiance of the laws of economics will lead to serious inflation, and a decline in the purchasing power of many households. One day, Venezuela's ordeal of today could become China's ordeal of tomorrow.

      Wise statements! Chinese patriotic zeal overlooks basic international economics! For folks that pride themselves in their mathematical skills they don't realize their current growth is not sustainable! There is a global equation operating now.
      It's not about "China this or china that, or USA this and USA that". Simplistic statements like USA dependant on China for cheap "whatever" are wrong. The WORLD decides were things are made . Manufacturing centers shift and there is still a lot of world out there!
      China has taken out on a dangerous path of "command economy" rather than embracing real capitalism. Lessons from the last centuries failed "5 year plan" approach have been forgotten. That approach benefits only propping up regimes and promoting corruption.
      Simply extrapolating from your huge population by current growth just ain't gonna happin'. Overpopulation is a huge problem. The temptation for population growth will only postpone a painful economic correction.
      I'm tired now.
      Best wishes,
      Vlad

      Bear: China is crony capitalist except for its banking system, which remains socialist. Chinese economic data cannot be trusted because the numbers are cooked.

      Talking about debts alarm, I believe USA USD20 trillion sovereign debts are even more alarming. At least Chinese debts are mostly spent on the people and development e.g. the high speed rail, city public transport, hospital school and various airports etc etc. What did USA spend until USD20 trillion??? Now the public transports, airports and other infrastructures in many many parts of USA or even Europe are falling apart, dilapidated and deteriorated.

    • @SilvanaDil
      @SilvanaDil 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's easy to have a good looking airport when it's brand new. China has done that in high profile places like Shanghai. Go to more rural areas in China. They have squat. When they look like Iowa or Nebraska, then we'll talk about infrastructure, hospitals, schools....

    • @SilvanaDil
      @SilvanaDil 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Um, not really, genius. China is overly dependent on exports. With economies not growing, to whom can China sell? Internally? Not enough, hence the recent ongoing slowdown in China.

I know the quality of steel in their products is terribly thin and has no tinsel strength especially tools, building products like nails and screws..

    All those empty apartments which were made in the hopes that the value of the land would increase overtime AND that people would rent them out. But I am assuming none of that is happening, and that they are losing allot of money (the people who own those properties in the ghost towns), is this correct? And if so, why do they keep developing on some ghost towns (and continue making more ghost towns) if they know it will not work, it seems like they are idiots but I might be missing something.

      The oldest money is in the London museum. The first paper money and banks are from China. The Jesuits then took it to Venice. It's not capitalism nor communism that made China poor. It is because of imperialists. The west is falling because it has lost all dignity and submit to wishful thinking. What is more communist than food stamps? For the rest of your life, you will slowly learn all the lies told to you. It will be a slow , painful process. Western propaganda says China owes 30 trillion. From whom? Martians? It is pathetic that people have to resort to lying to themselves.

      More than anything else, Chinese leaders fear unemployment because how can you control 1.4 billion people if they get angry and stop believing in their system? You can't. This is why they build empty cities, to avoid unemployment. Problem is they have created a huge bubble and it will burst, possibly this year, but definitely soon. We shall see what happens. You cannot have a huge middle class satisfied with unemployment, no way to move up and living in a filthy polluted environment. eventually they will rise up and demand change.
