It was Franks composition... she could be replaced by anyone who could play the instrument good enough. (She was at some point, some dude called Ed man or something)
Both pieces are stunning compositions, and when one considers that the whole of side 1 is the peerless ‘Greggary Peccary’ and that the fourth track is classic bubblegum pop, this has to rate as the most consistently brilliant Zappa album, despite stiff competition…
Me too, I've loved it for over four decades. You can hear Stravinsky's influence on Zappa strongly and the guitar solo, doubled by the horns, is just beyond beautiful.
В молодости я любил юмор в книгах, а после 60-и нашёл его и в музыке😆 Спасибо , Фрэнк ! In my youth I loved humor in books, and after 60 I found it in music too😆 Thank you Frank!
I bought what turned into "Lather" as four individual records and I think they were among the last records of FZ's that I bought. I'll have to revisit this.
@@georgfrank1458 Well he played a low budget bedstead! If you read his autobiography Frank infers his frustration at the costs associated with keeping a full orchsestra fed

The support in these pieces by Ruth Underwood are amazing! She was so important to Frank Zappa's music.

Haha. Yep. Afflicted with stinkbrain.@FreeSpeech101-pb3lg
Absolutely agree...but only for the few short years she was with him...many different Zappa bands over the years
The first Zappa album I ever heard (44 years ago!), and it hooked me for LIFE!!
One of the greatest Zappa albums and two of his best compositions.

Zappa Forever
These compositions are where Classical Music was when Frank Zappa composed them. Bloody brilliant stuff.
I love these songs so much. I used to jam along with this on my kit when I was young, trying to keep up. Still great music today.
I love Zappa
Your ears are most beautiful!
Best musician of the the XX century. And an awsome guitar player.
What a fantastic body of work he has left us.
Frank definitely marched to his own galaxy.
There he will be met by Jaroslav Hasek and the Brave Soldier Schweik ...
My favorite Zappa piece

specially the end.
This has got to be my new Zappa favorite!

Thank you very much. Every best wish. May your ears flourish exponentially.

Parts of this bring a tear to me eye
Sounds fantastic
9:40 Forever and ever Zappa
Primeira música que ouvi do Zappa, já fazem mais de 40 anos e até então não parei de ouvir FZ.
The song is called "Revised Music for Guitar and Low-Budget Orchestra".
turn it up loud!
Did Zappa ever play with a Low Budget Guitar ? ;)

but anyway its up there for me with his very best
@@douglaski711kingh7 I unfortunately came to appreciate these brilliant songs many years later when the Läther album was released.
After a night of dubstep from a dj in the corner of the pub. .when I got home .this made sense. .
Happy Franksgiving everybody! Love you all! ✌
Happy next Franksgiving peoples! ✌🏻✌🏻
Real music thanks frank!
Give it a chance. I was pretty much hell no not in the mood but was too lazy to shut it off. Now I'm feeling the groooooove man.
This album and Sleep dirt!!!

If only Frank had swung.
Strange that this is Steve Vai playing.
Thank God that stupid pig business is gone and we can listen to the music!
You referring to "Greggery Peccary"? Another fine piece of music. It's a fable composed as a cartoon for your ears!
Contractual obligation.
