I've definitely intercepted KH-38MTs before, just has to be head on, too much side profile and the missile is out of effective prox. range anyways. The only problem with being head on is you're probably the target. Some SPAAGs can also intercept them, just not enough
I tried it from the front and I couldn't even with the vt1 maybe in those moments the kh38 was going too fast and the SAM explosion didn't reach it... but it's almost impossible to intercept them if you are not an S1....

Hunter already did a video where he found that the Kh-38’s don’t trigger proxy fuse of missiles nearly as often as other missiles, like mavericks. There is RNG for intercepting them. It’s broken and op, but it’s been big reported
Unpopular opinion: I think Pantsir is fine but the game is simply not ready for it yet, and by that I mean Gaijin shouldn't add something that there isn't a very near equivalent from other nations. NATO doctrine is different from USSR, that's why there isn't a lot of Heavy Mobile SHORAD like the Pantsir from NATO. And even if there is, it's going to be multi chassis SHORAD system (such as the IRIS-T and NASAMS). Not to mention that they dare to add the Pantsir before Anti-Radiation Missile or 6x KH-38 before any other nations have the SAM system to counter them. And of course top tier BR is always very compressed because Gaijin somehow think that's fine, which adds more to the unbalance nature of top tier.
I've not tested intercepting the Kh-38 but i can say that the mode you are using on the pantsir is the worst at hitting even jets. Try it with the direct lock onto the jet mode may make a difference
it was just a small illustrative part, to show that it is very very difficult to intercept in normal conditions... but the 3 modes of the S1 are all very good, they are just used in different ways once that is achieved they are very good.
Oh yes, 6 frags run is OP because russia. Guys making 25 frags with 2 US aicraft is "wow good", and nobody remembers those yt shorts videos with A-7 or a-10 called "FASTEST 6 FRAGS" and other shit. And who remembers t-64 being the only tank to counter m1 and 2a4? lol, cry more about russian bias
Gotta say i agree with this its mostly us Mains crying about the jet being op just because they didnt get their f18? Also they should remember that they have f16 and f15 with similar amount of AGMs just because Russia got the more reliable agm doesent mean its op

Pansir and all that use VT1 can intercept them... but yeah i have done it too, but only front aspect a.k.a head on

Hunter also said the same thing with inconsistent KH-38 interception, he suspect it is a bug and there are already bug reports for it out there.
