Worth mentioning that since 04, they have had the Kettle lead Nuplug style quick change flex

Do they still make the ones with the blower on the back? Have a feeling they do, saw a twin speed NQS at a sports centre YEARS ago! It had the standard vent on the back.

I've actually got one of these as my main cleaner at home. Love it, other than it being so heavy.

Decided to do a search to see if there was any info online about the vacuum cleaner I have, & found your video. Mine is a brown/ cream NV250, & my sister also has an NV250 (although hers is in blue/ white or blue/ cream). I've had it for nearly 24 years (& it belonged to my parents prior to that). Made me chuckle at your comment about throwing it down the stairs & it keeping on working...mine has indeed fallen down the stairs previously, without causing any damage/ problems with it! They are amazing & better than other vacuum cleaners I've used, & seem to be happy picking anything up (including nuts & bolts, & rubble!)...& they do indeed seem to last just about forever, as you say!

Definitely looks very well made. I have a Henry HVR 200-11 very good machine but some parts a little under built.

They became NVQ in the mid 90s as those with the newer 1100w single stage motor, like yellow henry, had even more sound deadning insulation than the earlier NV series.
They then became NQS in the 2000s and still are to this day. Bucket sizes for the all steel machines were 250,300 and 350 with some oddball ones like the 500.

How many Numatic canisters are there that are under your possession? Which of them would do a decent job on the carpets when used with the Airobrush that appears in the 2nd half of this video? And do you own a Wessel Werk turbohead modeled TK 286?

Probably about 10 Numatic machines in the collection. They all work well with an airo-brush and I've no idea what the TK 286 is sorry

The modern equivalent of this would be the NQS250

    I sold my NVQ250B, but I want a 80s nv250 or nv350.

I have an HV-250, but it is silver and white, and called 'Bugsy'. What have I got, and why is there nothing about it anywhere on the internet?

I'm not the person to ask tbh - my Numatic knowledge is not great :(

@@TheVintageApplianceEmporium is there anyone who you'd put me on to who you think might be interested? Quite honestly it's very much destined for the skip unless someone else is interested in it!
