LOL bro where have you been? This is the kinda tutorial video we need more in this world. Straight to the point, no muck around. Love the video bro and very helpful.
Suggestions for future tutorial. In Electrical systems, you click on object, and expect the power button to appear but it doesnt. What to do? I can think of 4 or 5 possibilities that work for me. Similarly, in other revit topics, you expect something to happen and it doesn't, what possibilities to look for?
could you please do a tutorial about how to create a parametrical shape , im doing my masters and i need to create an interesting shape with a functional plan as well . Thanks for ur videos tho they are helpful
That's starting to get outside of where my skills are. The most I usually do is a parametric rectangle that helps me figure out general floor areas. Try Balkan Architect or BIM After Dark. I think what you want is to use Dynamo, which I unfortunately do not know. You can send me an email if you have some specific questions and I can point you in the right direction.
how did you activate Edit Type without clicking on the upper left hand corner? There isnt even a setting available for this command under Keyboard Shortcuts and it kills me to have to keep the properties panel open in order to execute this command. I cant stand how your expected to just use the mouse for everything in BIM. In CAD there are always at least 3 ways that you can do anything, in Revit you dont even get a command line.
I used the shortcut ET to activate Edit Type. That's a custom one, but you can download all the shortcuts in the video description. Also comes with a PDF cheat sheet, a desktop background and a discount for my pro course. If you want to make your own shortcut for Edit Type search for Type Properties in the shortcuts menu. You should ALWAYS have your properties panel open, it has a ton of vital information about your project. Check out this video for some screen setup options and other efficiency tricks: th-cam.com/video/mJEXiopIvQQ/w-d-xo.html Lots of ways to do what you want in Revit also. It's a lot to learn when you have a strong CAD background, but keep at it! I promise in a year you'll be glad you did, and you will be as annoyed as I am when I have to spend hours doing something in CAD that would take seconds in BIM.
Something is wrong with this TH-cam video. It won't play without hanging up. I have a brand new gaming computer with brand new router & Spectrum modem.
Best training type video I’ve ever watched on anything!! Fast, to the point, and ALL great usable fast keys for everyone!! Great job!!!

Thank you so much dear sir, for sharing this.

I like the quick approach. Too many videos take an hour to describe something that should take 5 minutes. Thx
Thanks and you are very welcome!

Good idea. I was planning on a tutorial about 25 things to try if an object isn’t visible. That could be similar.

Hi do you answer questions on old content?
This isn't old content, YOU'RE old content! Also, yes.
super sir
Are all these commands are working or applicable on 2021 version?
A lot of them are custom shortcuts. As long as you load up my shortcuts file, or make your own, they will work the same.
