  • In tonight's Piers Morgan Uncensored, the family of Captain Sir Tom Moore sit down with Piers Morgan to address the criticism they've received over the money they've made from his memory.
    The 100-year-old won the nation’s hearts when he began raising money for the NHS during lockdown by walking around his garden. But, following his death, his daughter Hannah Ingram-Moore, her husband Colin Ingram and their children Benji and Georgia, have been hit by a barrage of abuse and a flurry of negative headlines that look set to overshadow his legacy.
    In this teaser clip, Piers grills them about where the money they've made has come from and whether they have regrets about the amount they've pocketed.

      Best wishes to you & yours in 2024.
      May it be a bright and happy year!
      In the meantime, a bit of speculation:
      A). If a cunning corvid returns YOUR diamond ring to your windowsill, it merely means they have a sense of humor... and are (somewhat) repenting for their wily ways.
      -->Please keep feeding them!
      B). If a cunning corvid places your neighbor's diamond ring on your windowsill, the corvids are trying to frame you. Don't touch the ring (so as not to contaminate the 'evidence'). However:
      -->Please keep feeding them!
      C). If a cunning corvid places numerous diamond rings on your windowsill, they are working in cahoots with the Mafia.
      -->Please keep feeding them! (In the new, secret location to which you flee. Witness Protection Program, etc.)
      Diamonds may prove a complicated gift to request, but I hope you do start receiving some acknowledgment... even a bow or a nod of the corvid head would be nice.

      The thing is, even if you can make a technical defence of it (citing whatever exculpatory nonsense they have done), the greater point is people were motivated to GIVE/PURCHASE due to charitable inclinations. It is the harm they've done to charitable giving generally that is their horrible legacy in all of this. People will be way more suspicious of "good" causes in future. By it's nature, that harm is incalculable. We will never know. But you can guarantee they've been a force for bad rather than good. Trust is what is eroded.
      PS Piers' involuntary wink at 1:33 is caught on camera. What an example of pure greed. I'm a 52-year-old veteran, and I had been donating money to charity ever since I started earning money, until about ten years ago when I started looking into where the money was going. No matter which charity it is, there is always someone skimming money off the top to satisfy their greed. It really is sickening. The way the Ingram -Moores treated that very talented lady Daisy Souster who set everything up was appauling! I'm not 100% sure about this, but I believe the family were living quite comfortably before the charity was set up, but for some, it's just never enough is it? As an ex soldier , I fell personally embarrassed with this family and how they treated their father. In my opinion , they were in it for the money and they should have donated it all to charity as I’m POSITIVE that’s what their father intended. Look at what they done in regards to building extensions in the house , done it without permission then landed themselves in an argument whether to take it down or not with the authorities as they never followed due process.
    I’d be ashamed of them if it was me laying in the grave as their father

      The thing is, even if you can make a technical defence of it (citing whatever exculpatory nonsense they have done), the greater point is people were motivated to GIVE/PURCHASE due to charitable inclinations. It is the harm they've done to charitable giving generally that is their horrible legacy in all of this. People will be way more suspicious of "good" causes in future. By it's nature, that harm is incalculable. We will never know. But you can guarantee they've been a force for bad rather than good. Trust is what is eroded.
      PS Piers' involuntary wink at 1:33 is caught on camera. To get his "exclusive" he's obviously agreed to prime the family about the questions beforehand and had their responses in advance so he can soft ball them through it. You can see him encouraging her as she gives the prepared answer to the question she was expecting. They've neglected to edit it out. Lol.

    Jeez, I thought that there was something "off" about her, from the very start, she always seemed overly keen with the charity, almost too enthusiastic.
    When the charity took off, it became very successfull, very quickly, & all of a sudden it was making millions, far more in fact, than she could have ever imagined, i personally think that she thought that she could steal some & it would,nt be missed, but i look at her body language, she consistently repeats her responses, she never adds to them.
    She spoke to a lawyer, & decided to face the music, because all the allegations were growing, & thought that she had better get it over & done with, but her face tells me that she is guilty of theft, she has been trained to answer questions in a certain way, she does,nt deviate or add anything to what she has already said, assuming that she will be beleived, but i dont beleive her.
    I bet she did,nt ever think that it would blow up in her face like this, & Tom,s legacy, will always be smeared, by these allegations, & her taking charity money, this is what she will be remembered for.

    Personally I think he will be turning in his grave, not one time did he EVER say on any interview that he wanted to make his family rich off the back of his charity walk, that poor man died thinking it would ALL go to charity and these snakes are robbing it. Disgusting

      That’s quite the assumption. This just smacks of people wanting to rinse him for everything he had. If they were figurines of him walking that they profited from then fair enough but the were autobiographical books 😂

    Anybody else beginning to think that they coerced a man in his twilight months to toddle around the garden, rather than get some well earned rest, just so they could benefit financially from his noble gesture..?

    Because of their sheer greed they have now brought the credibility of all charities in the county in doubt. As soon as she put herself forward for the CEO job alarm bells starting ringing in my ears. She and her husband are an absolute disgrace. Once the charities commission have exposed their wrongdoings they will be forever vilified and ostracised from society.

    What part has the other daughter had to play in this? If the money for the book was to go to one daughter because Captain Tom decreed it, why would he leave his other daughter out of it?

    The world went completely mad during Covid, fact is in normal times an old man walking up and down his mansion would not have even made the news or media. The family are shameful and I hope their spa is knocked to the ground very soon. Regarding the books they never would have even sold 10 without all the crazy press. This family are twisting everything to their own ends.

    The entire thing was a ridiculous media circus from the start. All the old boy did was walk around his own garden, my grandparents did that all the time when they were alive. The books he “wrote” were written by ghost writers.

    Clearly, the simple-minded folk that bought the books would have thought that their money was going to the charity. The family are typical greedy Tories that have no shame.

    At some point, I suspect, the law may find them needing to prove what they are saying and have done.
