  • Hello, I'm Lance (aka Bundy Bear), and doing these videos is my hobby. I do own Queensland Tractor Spares in Australia where I sell parts and offer technical advice to customers.
    Parts seen in our videos can be purchased from www.queenslandtractorspares.co...
    We have a lot more than we can offer on our web site available to us and in our store. If you don't see what you would like please email info@queenslandtractorspares.com.au or call 1300 850 097 and we will help where we can.
    I do try and help with technical advice at bundybearsshed@gmail.com if you have a question or are having trouble with your project.

      It is! I think the tractor has possibly only done around 4000 hrs.

    Great video Lance. Interesting. Looks complicated at first when you’ve never done something like that, but once you show how it’s done, it surely is not to bad to do.
    Thanks and have a good day.

    What a fantastic tutorial!! I'm just about to start a restoration project on a 3040 with SG2 cab. This has given me a great insight and enthusiasm to getting going. Shame you're not in the UK - I could use your help and experience. Many thanks Lance.

    I did one on a JD and couldn't get the new seal over the stub, after a good look I noticed a sleeve on the stub, once removed the seal fitted nice.

    Hi Lance , great video. I'd often wondered about the shims on the king pins , whether there needed to be an equal amount on the top and bottom to keep the inner and outer shafts in line , but it occurs to me now that the double UJ would take care of any missalignment anyway , am I correct in this assumption ?
    Thanks , and a Happy new Year from Wales , (wet and windy here ! )

    Last time I was gresing frint axle in my 1640 I noticed joints are easy to move up and down. I was thinking if its on the joints or it should be like this 🤔

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes they should not move much, I would suggest checking the bottom king pin bearing.
