River Roy full descent (medium/high). Scottish kayaking

Kayaking the upper, gorge and lower sections of the Roy at healthy medium flows. The upper and lower provide fantastic grade 2/3 continuous boating. I'd always heard of the gorge s a siphoned mess, but with the right levels and crew it's a fantastic high volume feeling gorge, an absolute Scottish classic.

Hi is the rock boof at 4:14 the old head banger just wondering if the entire gorge is doable at that level without have to portage? TIA

Nope we still had to portage headbanger, think it'd need to be a good bit higher before you could consider it. Just didn't get much footage of headbanger. 4.14 is the rock that forms the last (i think) syphon, on the right. At that level the syphon was decently covered over.
