Rebecca, your an ANIMAL when it comes to knitting! ( but a cute one) Holy moly! Look at all you’ve got on the plate! Do love all the cables! Wow! Best wishes for finishing all your deadlines! I loved last episodes dessert island yarns so much! May need to watch it a third time! ClaudiaSJI
Your cabled sweaters are both stunning. Your work is beautiful, along with pattern and colors. Oh my, I was watching your lace swatches and loved them all and now to see the sweater in progress, wow, stunning. Can’t wait to see it. You accomplish a lot and put a lot of pressure on yourself but you are an incredible designer.
Oh, dear heart, I'm not even sure where to begin... I am fairly certain that many of your viewers don't fully understand just how hard it is to get a wrap sweater ~ or a wrap *anything* ~ to fit. As a (formerly professional) seamstress and eons old knitter, I applaud your ingenuity and stick-to-it-iveness in designing a wrap that will fit a real human body and not just a paperdoll figured model. I have every confidence in your ability to make us all look smashing, and I already have yarn lined up for a wrap when the pattern is released. The Tolsta tanks, camisoles, and other sleeveless incarnation are exactly what my upcoming summer needs! I am ordering yarn(s) with sparkle and pallettes and (if I can find some) beaded silk. We have a trip planned that will require some "fancy grownup" attire - Tolsta tops wouldbe perfect!
Hello Rebecca, thank you very much for your videos. I love your work, your choice of colours, wools and designs. Congratulations, you are such a talented person and I love also your Scottish accent not difficult to understand at all for me, a Portuguese woman living in Paris for 34 years, since 1990. I’m so happy to listen to your podcasts and following you every week it’s a great pleasure. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with us. Never give up, you’re a wonderful person ❤
Rebecca - for the sleeve decreases, you could consider using methods employed in many vintage patterns and that is to change sleeve diameter by changing needle size. This is very effective, and oddly is not noticeable. Sirdar 1193 is one example. Love the orange on you! Enjoy your trip, I can't imagine trying to get ready to fly to other side of the world, never mind all this knitting and admin you have set yourself!
Rebecca! You are a knitting machine! I dont know how you fit in so much along with a full time job😮😮😮 love your designs, just wondering which one to pick for my 'this year's knit' xxx
Rebecca - I love your videos, especially the photo shoots. I'm a New Zealander, so it's fun to hear you talking about your trip. I was last in Edinburgh in December to attend my daughter's wedding so some resonances in your stories. Can't wait to hear your stories about your trip. It's getting a bit autumnal here. Definitely sweater weather in the South Island, especially in the mornings.
My knitting group just did our first yarn swap. The way we did ours is you brought yarn and $5. The $5 went to the local food bank and then everyone who brought a donation has their name in a hat. The names get drawn and each person goes in order and chooses one thing or bundle and then the names go back in the hat and get drawn for each subsequent round. It was fun. And the leftovers no one claimed went to a local community centre. Lots of fun!
Hi Rebecca, Have a great time in Aussie and New Zealand good luck with wearing your wrap at the wedding, as weather might be mid to late 20s and humid (which is a killer). Keep up the good work with all your creations. Do try pineapple lumps in New Zealand.🧶🎉
Hey 👋🏻😁 I’ve had a fun day of stash enhancement today, thanks to you 🤩 I looked up suppliers of Kinross 4ply and out of about a dozen in the country, there was one about half hour from me in Nottingham 🥳 I was a smidge skeptical about it feeling like cashmere when washed, but the shop had a swatch, and you weren’t kidding! I got 5 skeins in 5 different colours, thinking perhaps a colourwork hat/cowl/mitts/all 3 🤩So, thanks for your recommendation 👍🏻😁
Episode full of beautiful projects 😊 I always get excited when a new episode notification pops up from you ! I am knitting on 3 projects at the moment I don’t know how you do it with so many. I am looking forward to the Tolsta tank pattern!
Congratulations on managing all these things at once, you must have a very strong mind !!! I just can't keep up with knitting all my favourite patterns of yours ...
Can’t wait for the Tolsta top. I already imagine knitting a plain black one and a version with a lace detail at the front (something interesting from my stitch book) in a pinkish Line from Sandnes 🥹
Lovely cables ! A tip for coming to Australia, it might pay to bring a cardigan or shawl, restaurants and shops sometimes have arctic air conditioning , Bridget R
I had a thought, when you run out of Scotland beaches just use beaches that you visit in other countries. You are invited to Wasaga Beach here in Ontario Canada and you can stay here, we're an hour away!!
If you're in Christchurch on your NZ trip, do go to the Wild Earth mill factory shop. Polworth, Possum/Merino and Arapawa/Merino are all lovely natural yarns to try.
Everything looks amazing - excited to give the Tolsta tank a go when it’s out. Your knit night always sounds so great - if anyone in Glasgow knows of a similar group meeting in town please shout, I’d love to join!
So excited for Tolsta Tanks! Just finished my fourth Tee this week and did a long sleeve in cotton that will be my “summer sweatshirt”. Will you test fingering tanks at the same time? Hope you reach all your WIP/FO goals this week!
Another fun video….. just knitting away and listening to you 😊 I do like the Corran Cardigan…. Having narrow shoulders, I am wondering how the neck and shoulders would fit… it being a drop shoulder?
Hi Rebecca! Love your podcast. I noticed that Kip (I think this is the correct name) wasn’t in your Wips. So looking forward to seeing this pattern not only complete, but also offered so we can make it. Please provide an update
It's coming back! I've pushed the release back to September to give it a proper testing window so I'll start working on it again in the next month or so
Also, have you thought about adding the detailing for the halter/tank from the stick season or even the cabling sweater you’re making? That would add a punch of detail to jazz it up. That actually would be what I want to do!
I love how the lace cardigan is looking! 😍 have you thought about coming up here to Fife for a photoshoot? The beaches at the east neuk would make an amazing backdrop.
The tank is so exciting!!! I wanted to note when we think of halter in USA it tends to be more tangled towards the neck (as a halter tank doesn’t have straps, it just sort of wraps around the neck), similar to what your are saying for the “tank” version. I don’t know if this is helpful, what you described is similar to like a apron front? Either way, super exciting!
Rebecca, my friend and I will be in Edinburgh on a knitting tour that will take us to the Shetland Islands in July. Any tips on what we should wear? Sweaters?
Rebecca, your v-neck, red, cabled cardigan is AH-MAZING. So, you are going to New Zealand, the Land of Sheep and Yarn, but you want to _bring_ yarn for a navy blue cardigan??? Why not treat yourself to some special New Zealand wool. Maybe some possum. :D
I just discovered an invisible raglan increase method that works in pattern, lining up the pattern well. It just popped up and I watched it on James Cox Knits. Now, as I’m writing this I realize you were lamenting sleeve decreases not increases, but anyway, I really liked the technique so I’ll leave this comment in case it helps someone out there!😅
Just one more favour I’m asking you : Sometimes it’s difficult for people living abroad to buy some brands of fibers you’re working with. For instance, for CASCADE wool I‘ve been searching in France, there are some resellers but they offer few colours choices. So if you could add in your posts some additional addresses of websites where we can order and buy these yarns it will be very helpful. Thank you very much 🙏 💐
Beautiful knits but red and orange come across horrible on the computer when we watch it back. Just an FYI for you. The design is lost on the screen.😢 I know white and cream is boring but from an advertising design it is the best option for the consumer to see. I purchased most of your designs, they are beautiful.

I love those cables along the neckline and armholes so much. So much attention to detail. Great work 😍
The wrap cardi is so beautiful and unique Rebecca! Excited to see it finsihed up.

Always a joy to watch, to listen, and to be inspired.
The cable garments look sooooo good. I love that bright colour.
Wow! Those cables are stunning! 🤩

I’m so excited for the Lauder. Can’t wait in till the pattern comes out 🥰
Love all the colors and your projects😍. Have fun on your trip!
I'm waiting for the Lauder. I have been since I saw The Wooly Worker's version. It's gorgeous.
That lace cardigan would be amazing in 3/4 sleeves! Especially given it’s white. I can’t wait for both the cable pattern and the lace ones to release!
I agree 3/4 length sleeves would be perfect.
Episode full of beautiful projects 😊 I always get excited when a new episode notification pops up from you ! I am knitting on 3 projects at the moment I don’t know how you do it with so many. I am looking forward to the Tolsta tank pattern!
She's way smarter than I am, that's for sure 😂
Stunning cable sweater! Someday I’ll be experienced enough to try that.
Congratulations on managing all these things at once, you must have a very strong mind !!! I just can't keep up with knitting all my favourite patterns of yours ...

I JUST CAST ON IN THE PINK LINE!!
Yeeeey. We can have matching tops. I neeeeeeed it even more😅

Oh I’m looking forward to your new patterns coming out…what a lot of work in the cable one for you.
"I have a whole lot of WIPs and... That's about it." 😂👌 I feel you, sis.
If you're in Christchurch on your NZ trip, do go to the Wild Earth mill factory shop. Polworth, Possum/Merino and Arapawa/Merino are all lovely natural yarns to try.
It's at the very top of my list!
I'm frantically trying to finish my current sweater so i can cast the Lauder cardigan on when it comes out. Cant wait!
Watching this while working on my Lauder pullover. :D Also, you are like a knitting machine! lol
Everything looks amazing - excited to give the Tolsta tank a go when it’s out. Your knit night always sounds so great - if anyone in Glasgow knows of a similar group meeting in town please shout, I’d love to join!

Your knitting is amazing but are they bottom up ones? I love the red one. Well done.
I hope you are going to charge more for the Lauder pattern - it’s pretty much an ebook!!!❤
Your cables cardigan is stunning.
Red looks great on you😊
When you are here in NZ you should buy some Possum fur yarn. It's amazingly warm and soft.

how much yardage does the Tolsta tank take compared to the tee?
I’m dying to get the Lauder but it didn’t come out!!
It did! Just a bit later than usual. I'm in New Zealand and didn't trust myself to do the go-live until I'd had a full night of sleep.
Your schedules/deadlines make me old!😂
Just one more favour I’m asking you :

Wool Warehouse is where I usually get mine and I'm quite confident they do international shiping!
Thank you so much 🙏
Food is crispy
Fabric is crisp
