Maybe the Devil really is the reason you're single. But make sure not mix up your desires and say that it's "the Devil's doing". Perhaps this is a season of singleness for you, and God is still molding you and your significant other. Instead of seeking a relationship with people, seek a relationship with God (Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you"). He is so much greater than the Devil, and will bring you and your spouse together when the time is right. Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight". Let God write your love story, and don't be so rash to pursue someone God has not prepared for you. You will not need to chase what God gives. God bless my brothers and sisters
Dear Stj JNR, yes you are correct. Getting closer to God is your first step. It’s not complicated like we sometimes think it is🙏🏽. From your heart begin to talk to God like He is sitting right in front of you, even the things you might be ashamed to tell him (whether it’s something you thought or something you did or both 🙏🏽). He knows, your confession of it just shows you trust Him enough to tell Him and you trust him enough to help you. Daily spend time with Him, read a scripture ( a verse, or a chapter and then eventually two chapters and so on and so on. Start slowly. Digesting His word for the day. Think about it and see if you understand it. What you don’t (if you don’t, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and reveal it to you). Begin a pure walk with HIM from today. Choose what you watch, listen to and how much time you’re scrolling on social media. Check out the research into three things; 1. How to draw closer to God in prayer, 2. What are generational curses and it’s implications and three what are spirit spouses and their implications. There is a Minister on here by the name of Kevin LA Ewing who teaches on all three, with strong emphasis on 2 and 3. He recommends his friend’s book to help with number 3, her name is Zita Grant. I'm 40 years old, and I have never had a boyfriend. Being single when everyone else around you is coupled with someone is downright heartbreaking sometimes. I just want to know how we can tell if we are being called to singleness by God or not. I have lost so much hope in finding someone.
I think if you have the desire to be married most likely God gave you that desire. Those I know who feel called to be single have never had any desire for marriage. But certainly pray and fast for a clear answer to that question. I’m 42 and never married. I started praying for a husband 19 years ago so I feel your pain, Hayley. It’s a painful road when you feel like the last single person. And in my circle of friends, I am the last single one. I have tried dating apps through the years. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend them. Most men are not sincere Christians, only want sex or money, or they are interested only in how pretty a girl is. You have to be tough and be able to handle rejection (lots of it!) if you do dating apps. Despite what others say, I absolutely believe God can bring you a spouse in any way so if you don’t want to use dating apps, He can still bring that person. This is a walk of trusting God and believing He loves us and will give us our heart’s desires.
ive lost faith in God cuz he made me single when i dont want to be and sent evil men into my life to hurt me now i have a jncurable std. im very mad at God for this. all i ever wanted was to be a house wife and He sent an evil man who was the complete opposite of what i prayed for. now i am getting very physically ill at age 32 after so much s*xual trauma and i never even got to have a real boyfriend . thanks alot God.
I usually don't comment, but I felt compelled to share. I come from a family with single women which has been this way in previous generations. My aunt was the only one who married, but she passed away. She was my example of what GOD can do. GOD also blessed her to have a child when the doctor said she couldn't. I simply want to glorify GOD with my life and also be an example to my family so that the generational curse of single parenting is broken. My prayer is that I'm not idolizing marriage but just want GOD to use it to glorify him. I have been praying for quite some time and I wonder when. In the mean time, I'm trying to make sure that I being the best me I can be and avoid the wrong relationships.

There's always someone taller, better looking, and more talented than me." This kind of message sets up such a horrific thought process for people. 'Get close to God and He will then provide stuff for you'....in this case, a spouse, but can also be applied to ANY other 'thing' you may be praying for (ie the health or safety of a loved one, a job application, a move to a different city or location, etc, etc, etc). Then, what if nothing happens? Am I doing something wrong? Sinning too much? Not praying and fasting enough? Is the Devil attacking me? It is so, so, so harmful.

It seems when you are in your season of singleness and are trying to do right and build your relationship with God, that's when the enemy sends people to distract you. About two years of singleness and here comes a guy all of a sudden. It's funny because I'm telling my self, nope, I don't have the time for going through the process of getting to know someone and all that. Fearful and afraid here. Being friends with then dating a covert Christian Narcissist brought me here...and he was born again. I thought those with the Holy Spirit couldn't be like this and I didn't have to worry about narcissists again. Lord, I want to know how to heal.
I'm sorry you had to deal with him. But honestly, there is no such thing as a Christian Narcissist and more specifically, one that goes around hurting people. So either he never actually had the Holy Spirit or he was going through something rough. If he was going through something rough and he was a Christian, he would've turned to good and sought help. I have been single for 13years, slowly i understand why. It didnt bother me at any time but i did wonder sometimes.. and the last bit about the conflict between obedience and disobedience made totally sense for me. Since a while im on my concious path w jesus and "reborn". Everything i look at different now and have enormous hope. I seeked god all my life, and therefore he seeked me also. Now i see how much he loves me and that he knows best for my soul. Weather he will bless me with a marriage in my life or not, i want to accept and be with him forever. I love how the Lord has been working on me throughout my life. When I was younger all I ever wanted was to get married and have that perfect "fairytale" life but He knocked some reality into me. He changed me so much through certain experiences that I am perfectly more than happy to remain single for the rest of my life. I now see that singleness can be such an awesome blessing! I like the content of this video especially the last few statements at the end. It's interesting to finally realise why I always seem to be attracting the type of people who I don't want to marry, although they are good quality. There's always something stopping me from moving forward with them and now I know why. I need to fix the disobedience that's in me towards God, I pray I find out what it is exactly or maybe I've been seeing it, hearing it but trying to ignore it. May the grace of God help me to correct myself and in doing so and help me to trust Him more with my future rather than putting so much emphasis on 'making sure I don't marry the wrong person' which already is the wrong prospective. But to now think if it as 'God will indeed direct our paths to each other in some way and those around me will approve our courtship' I believe that's how I believe it will be a sign that God approves, but if those around me don't, then it's a massive Red Flag. 🙂
I recently found a church that has more people around my age. After getting the announcement of getting laid off from my job. I decided to find a group of believers my age that can help support me in my life. Been looking for a group for a long time. But tomorrow will be my first time going to this new church and we'll be in Joshua 3. Not that I have something against my current church. But most people there are at different stages of life. Hope I'll make new friends and be encouraged. This video helped me too. What are your testimonies on meeting Godly friends/relationships?

I attended an older church growing up but when I went to college I was invited by a friend to attended her church and I became a member. If it wasn’t for the friendships and discipleship’s I gained through my college years, I would not be the same person I am today. Praying for discernment for you.
God allows the long distance-relationship for my refusal to submit to PCR-testing. We both pray every day. This video somehow really helped me more than all others, but maybe my situation can inspire for a separate video since many will be in this situation. Thank you...
Towards the end is an excellent point about what I would call "A foot on the dock and a foot in the boat" when it comes to the faith life and the "popular crowd pleaser" life. Consider a truly faith filled person who might be a wonderful partner to live out Gods plan. What would THEY be looking for? If they see us dabbling in late nights out having too much too drink, a lot of attention on image and material possessions, etc. etc., that person would see this and move on to other prospects because they see us behaving in a way that clearly says these actions and things are important to us, which will work against their relationship and faith goals. And if we do those things, that person would be right because if we are willing to give in to the crowd that easily, maybe WE aren't ready for a committed faith based relationship.
I am single and I know during this season God is growing my relationship with him. And preparing me for my significant other. May people seek God for guidance in choosing a Husband or Wife... WOW halfhearted obedience this speaks volumes 🔥🔥🔥 Father God help your children be whole heartedly for YOU 🙏
Yeah finding a relationship is tough especially when you put God first and run a business. It's hard finding a woman that is a believer that will follow the vision God gave you. I was actually thinking about not looking for a relationship anymore until this video came up.
I think the last point applies to me when it comes to getting together with someone. Sometimes I feel like God's standards are too high (abstinence) however I never feel good when I indulge so I have often felt out of place both in my single and dating stages🤦🏽♀️

Speaking as a man - I believe that a woman should make the first move by putting out the "welcome mat." The welcome mat can be something as simple as a flirtatious smile accompanied with a small gesture of some kind - like offering to help you with something, or asking you a question so as to start a conversation. Women: if you like someone, let the guy know...if he's not interested, you haven't lost a single thing.

What I understand about God's sovereighnty and our free will: doesn't matter what path I choose, God will make his way for the things He wants for the world. I will reap what I sow, the better my attitudes, the better the consequences (sorry If my english is not so good, not my first language), being it God's will or not. There's a reason He gave us rules. They're rules, not suggestions. Doing things that go against it makes US harm, we will reap what we sow. So I guess we could not do God's precise will for us in particular and still be okay BUT the only way to be fullfilled is His path for us, following His path makes us better then 'okay'. Thoughts??
I don’t believe God will force us to do anything but our life will go smoother if where in His will. That’s not to say hard times won’t come some of the best godly character I gained was in a time of darkness but I sought Him and I’m so grateful even for the pain it brought me closer to Him
God keeps his promises! Even if we are unfaithful, he remains faithful and never fails. The israelites sinned against God, but this did not stop God from keeping his promise - the process just took longer, so that they learn their lesson. But God is too good💖🙏

I have no doubt God put this video in front of me. Just yesterday I was frustrated with this debate if I should totally give up my control and freedom in life or take full control. This video showed me none of them are the right path. God has given me freedom, logic and mind so ai should use them but in the same time trust in God, seek his advice and in some parts leave it to him. I need a balance. I was in a relationship for 12 years and engaged to a much younger man and now we have split up because he became unhappy in the relationship, I guess I was unhappy to and now he's moved on and engaged to someone else and I feel so betrayed, alone and devastated, I don't know what Gods purpose is for me, sometimes I feel I have no purpose even when I pray my mind is so clouded. When I look back to all my past relationships with men, I realize they turned out wrong because of my selfish intentions. I dated the wrong kinds of guys for the wrong reasons. Now, I'm not looking for a man at 45. Yet, I'm glad to have never married because of my poor choices in life

Maybe the Devil really is the reason you're single. But make sure not mix up your desires and say that it's "the Devil's doing". Perhaps this is a season of singleness for you, and God is still molding you and your significant other. Instead of seeking a relationship with people, seek a relationship with God (Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you"). He is so much greater than the Devil, and will bring you and your spouse together when the time is right. Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight". Let God write your love story, and don't be so rash to pursue someone God has not prepared for you. You will not need to chase what God gives. God bless my brothers and sisters

From your heart begin to talk to God like He is sitting right in front of you, even the things you might be ashamed to tell him (whether it’s something you thought or something you did or both 🙏🏽). He knows, your confession of it just shows you trust Him enough to tell Him and you trust him enough to help you. Daily spend time with Him, read a scripture ( a verse, or a chapter and then eventually two chapters and so on and so on. Start slowly. Digesting His word for the day. Think about it and see if you understand it. What you don’t (if you don’t, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and reveal it to you). Begin a pure walk with HIM from today. Choose what you watch, listen to and how much time you’re scrolling on social media. Check out the research into three things; 1. How to draw closer to God in prayer, 2. What are generational curses and it’s implications and three what are spirit spouses and their implications. There is a Minister on here by the name of Kevin LA Ewing who teaches on all three, with strong emphasis on 2 and 3. He recommends his friend’s book to help with number 3, her name is Zita Grant. I think if you have the desire to be married most likely God gave you that desire. Those I know who feel called to be single have never had any desire for marriage. But certainly pray and fast for a clear answer to that question. I’m 42 and never married. I started praying for a husband 19 years ago so I feel your pain, Hayley. It’s a painful road when you feel like the last single person. And in my circle of friends, I am the last single one. I have tried dating apps through the years. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend them. Most men are not sincere Christians, only want sex or money, or they are interested only in how pretty a girl is. You have to be tough and be able to handle rejection (lots of it!) if you do dating apps. Despite what others say, I absolutely believe God can bring you a spouse in any way so if you don’t want to use dating apps, He can still bring that person. This is a walk of trusting God and believing He loves us and will give us our heart’s desires.
Pray and find a pastor/ brother/ sister in Christ who you trust and can talk to. They can help lead you in the right direction.
ive lost faith in God cuz he made me single when i dont want to be and sent evil men into my life to hurt me now i have a jncurable std. im very mad at God for this. all i ever wanted was to be a house wife and He sent an evil man who was the complete opposite of what i prayed for. now i am getting very physically ill at age 32 after so much s*xual trauma and i never even got to have a real boyfriend . thanks alot God.

I usually don't comment, but I felt compelled to share. I come from a family with single women which has been this way in previous generations. My aunt was the only one who married, but she passed away. She was my example of what GOD can do. GOD also blessed her to have a child when the doctor said she couldn't. I simply want to glorify GOD with my life and also be an example to my family so that the generational curse of single parenting is broken. My prayer is that I'm not idolizing marriage but just want GOD to use it to glorify him. I have been praying for quite some time and I wonder when. In the mean time, I'm trying to make sure that I being the best me I can be and avoid the wrong relationships.

This kind of message sets up such a horrific thought process for people. 'Get close to God and He will then provide stuff for you'....in this case, a spouse, but can also be applied to ANY other 'thing' you may be praying for (ie the health or safety of a loved one, a job application, a move to a different city or location, etc, etc, etc). Then, what if nothing happens? Am I doing something wrong? Sinning too much? Not praying and fasting enough? Is the Devil attacking me? It is so, so, so harmful.

It seems when you are in your season of singleness and are trying to do right and build your relationship with God, that's when the enemy sends people to distract you. About two years of singleness and here comes a guy all of a sudden. It's funny because I'm telling my self, nope, I don't have the time for going through the process of getting to know someone and all that. Plus, I already see that two major things I want which is marriage and children is not what he wants at this stage of his life. Thank you for this message AGW and all your messages. Fearful and afraid here. Being friends with then dating a covert Christian Narcissist brought me here...and he was born again. I thought those with the Holy Spirit couldn't be like this and I didn't have to worry about narcissists again. Lord, I want to know how to heal.
I'm sorry you had to deal with him. But honestly, there is no such thing as a Christian Narcissist and more specifically, one that goes around hurting people. So either he never actually had the Holy Spirit or he was going through something rough. If he was going through something rough and he was a Christian, he would've turned to good and sought help. So...maybe he wasn't even a Christian.
Right on time! I really struggle with wishful thinking and I'm struggling to ask girls out, because I fear being rejected by them. I really want to be in relationship and that causes my emotions to overhelm me, which as a christian, I understand thats wrong. I have been single for 13years, slowly i understand why. It didnt bother me at any time but i did wonder sometimes.. and the last bit about the conflict between obedience and disobedience made totally sense for me. Since a while im on my concious path w jesus and "reborn". Everything i look at different now and have enormous hope. I seeked god all my life, and therefore he seeked me also. Now i see how much he loves me and that he knows best for my soul. Weather he will bless me with a marriage in my life or not, i want to accept and be with him forever. I like the content of this video especially the last few statements at the end. It's interesting to finally realise why I always seem to be attracting the type of people who I don't want to marry, although they are good quality. There's always something stopping me from moving forward with them and now I know why. I need to fix the disobedience that's in me towards God, I pray I find out what it is exactly or maybe I've been seeing it, hearing it but trying to ignore it. May the grace of God help me to correct myself and in doing so and help me to trust Him more with my future rather than putting so much emphasis on 'making sure I don't marry the wrong person' which already is the wrong prospective. But to now think if it as 'God will indeed direct our paths to each other in some way and those around me will approve our courtship' I believe that's how I believe it will be a sign that God approves, but if those around me don't, then it's a massive Red Flag. 🙂

I would love to see a video on this!! I was in the same boat a few years ago. I ended up watching videos on finding new church and reasons that are justified, such as finding believers close to your age. Praying for wisdom.

I attended an older church growing up but when I went to college I was invited by a friend to attended her church and I became a member. If it wasn’t for the friendships and discipleship’s I gained through my college years, I would not be the same person I am today. Praying for discernment for you.

Towards the end is an excellent point about what I would call "A foot on the dock and a foot in the boat" when it comes to the faith life and the "popular crowd pleaser" life. Consider a truly faith filled person who might be a wonderful partner to live out Gods plan. What would THEY be looking for? If they see us dabbling in late nights out having too much too drink, a lot of attention on image and material possessions, etc. etc., that person would see this and move on to other prospects because they see us behaving in a way that clearly says these actions and things are important to us, which will work against their relationship and faith goals. And if we do those things, that person would be right because if we are willing to give in to the crowd that easily, maybe WE aren't ready for a committed faith based relationship.
I am single and I know during this season God is growing my relationship with him. And preparing me for my significant other. May people seek God for guidance in choosing a Husband or Wife... WOW halfhearted obedience this speaks volumes 🔥🔥🔥 Father God help your children be whole heartedly for YOU 🙏

Yeah finding a relationship is tough especially when you put God first and run a business. It's hard finding a woman that is a believer that will follow the vision God gave you. I was actually thinking about not looking for a relationship anymore until this video came up.
I think the last point applies to me when it comes to getting together with someone. Sometimes I feel like God's standards are too high (abstinence) however I never feel good when I indulge so I have often felt out of place both in my single and dating stages🤦🏽♀️

Speaking as a man - I believe that a woman should make the first move by putting out the "welcome mat." The welcome mat can be something as simple as a flirtatious smile accompanied with a small gesture of some kind - like offering to help you with something, or asking you a question so as to start a conversation. Women: if you like someone, let the guy know...if he's not interested, you haven't lost a single thing.

I really clicked with this guy and have wishful thinking 🤔 lol . I told God to please put in my path the right guy, I really want to forget about him.
What I understand about God's sovereighnty and our free will: doesn't matter what path I choose, God will make his way for the things He wants for the world. I will reap what I sow, the better my attitudes, the better the consequences (sorry If my english is not so good, not my first language), being it God's will or not. There's a reason He gave us rules. They're rules, not suggestions. Doing things that go against it makes US harm, we will reap what we sow. So I guess we could not do God's precise will for us in particular and still be okay BUT the only way to be fullfilled is His path for us, following His path makes us better then 'okay'. Thoughts??
I don’t believe God will force us to do anything but our life will go smoother if where in His will. That’s not to say hard times won’t come some of the best godly character I gained was in a time of darkness but I sought Him and I’m so grateful even for the pain it brought me closer to Him
God keeps his promises! Even if we are unfaithful, he remains faithful and never fails. The israelites sinned against God, but this did not stop God from keeping his promise - the process just took longer, so that they learn their lesson. But God is too good💖🙏

I have no doubt God put this video in front of me. Just yesterday I was frustrated with this debate if I should totally give up my control and freedom in life or take full control. This video showed me none of them are the right path. God has given me freedom, logic and mind so ai should use them but in the same time trust in God, seek his advice and in some parts leave it to him. I need a balance. I was in a relationship for 12 years and engaged to a much younger man and now we have split up because he became unhappy in the relationship, I guess I was unhappy to and now he's moved on and engaged to someone else and I feel so betrayed, alone and devastated, I don't know what Gods purpose is for me, sometimes I feel I have no purpose even when I pray my mind is so clouded. I don't know what to do, I want to be in a loving relationship and married oneday I pray God sends the right person into my life🙏 Amen.

Whatever he's doing to keep me single it's effective as I've never had a relationship. I can't even get a date when I ask women out!! I've prayed for years for marriage and a wife and nothing. With the pandemic it's impossible to pursue love, relationship and marriage.
