This track is at least 30 years old. I worked at a radio station in 1992-93 and we got syndicated gag reels for the morning show. One recurring bit was called "Ted's TV Themes," with this guy singing weird lyrics to instrumental television theme songs. That's where I first heard this. He also did the themes to "Barney Miller," "I Love Lucy" and "The Dick Van Dyke Show," among others. None of them were as good as this one, though I still can't hear the "I Love Lucy" theme without wanting to sing "I love Lucy, but she is dead / So are Ricky, Et-hel and Fred!"
This is freaking hilarious!! I died when he was like "there's a murder....it was POISON!!! Also the part where he was like "but oh boy on next is Barnaby Jones"!!! Pure genius!!
I just found this. This was great. I've liked Qunicy since I was a kid. Admittedly it got a bit too preachy towards the end of the series, especially the infamous anti-punk rock episode "Next Stop, Nowhere." 🤣
I doubt it. Did a quick search and nothing comes up for Family Guy referencing Quincy at all. I just think you came to the conclusion because this guy could arguably said to have a similar voice to Seth McFarlene.
This should have two-hundred-bazillion views.
I am accountable for at least five hundred of those views.

Always wondered what the source was, I couldn't see any others from some brief googling, do you have more information about this Ted guy?
I have been singing this for over a decade ❤

I still watch Quincy once a day, great programme and Jack is badly missed. RIP
How does this only have 15k views? I’ve watched it at least 1k of those.
Also great username, goose42.
IT...WAS...POISON!
5 months on, I'm pretty much convinced that this was a TH-cam creation and nothing to do with Family Guy. Also, still amazing.
Jack Klugman, you are missed
Loved his roles as Oscar Madison on "The Odd Couple" and Dr. R. Quincy on "Quincy, M.E."
@@pernelldhI think he was best on Twilight Zone.

LOL. Awesome. ☺ This needs to be redone with the same audio but higher-quality video.
No matter how many times I have heard this, it always makes me laugh!
OMG, I freakin' LOVE this! We started watching Quincy again two weeks ago. That wacky theme song was just begging for lyrics.
Um, no. This was on TH-cam for ages. Nothing to do with Family Guy.

This sounds like something I would come up with.
This is brilliant!! Please do more :)
This is so fantastic, where did it come from?
I also want to know. heard it ages ago!
Jesus Christ, this is one of the funniest things I have ever heard!!!!
Oh my goodness
LOL! That was hilarious! Hilarious!
Best thing on the internet x
Nice job! Better than the Bonanza lyrics.
The Bonanza theme actually had lyrics. The cast sang them at the end of the pilot.
I love this. You could re-record this with better graphics. Maybe do an extended megamix? :D
I've taken the audio and put it over a more watchable video. Surprised nobody else had already done it. Gotta preserve these old ass TH-cam videos!
Thats Dixie Land not Jazz
Way to miss the point.
Could you cite an episode name/number? I'm quite interested.
Swavy first
If you're going to add vocals, you should be able to sing well.
Watch your head, the joke is flying over it.
Parody's not for everyone.
Don’t give up your day job.
