If you do not have a contract search Google for your access point number and the word bugfix search and make a note of a bug fix reference from any affecting your access point.
Go to cisco downloads section for your access point, and request the latest file for autonomous, if you do not have an entitlement to download click request download and make a request you will more than likely be denied on the first occasion VIA e-mail reply to the email and tell them under bugfix entitlement for reference XXXX you require the download you will then be given a grant for 3 days to allow you to download it.

Goto Cisco download page software.cisco.com/download/home, find your AP and the filename of the firmware. , search "file name" on google, if the latest can not be found try a earlier version.
Remenber to check MD5 and/or SHA-512 finger print to ensure it at actually the right package, you get MD5/Sha-512 and file size by holding mouse over the file name.
I had to use the second latest version, the latest wasn't on the net, but it was not a problem (better than owning a "brik").
