Painless 360 is one of my favorite go to...Thank you Good Sir's...
Neat! Speedybee is coming out with some good stuff lately.
Thanks Lee and Happy 2024.
Great product; SpeedyBee does it again. Quick question….”Can you cut the LEDs to size?”
Yes you can
I am a big fan of the MenacRC cob leds. But these ones have some interesting characteristics. Thanks for sharing
Happy new year!! Just ordered a set!..😃👍
Great ideas. Thanks Lee for pointing out. Been thinking of putting something like this on a wing.
Is the connector between the pcb and the led strip common? Wondering if possible to wire two led strips into one pcb. Not worrying if they mirror each other .. just one on each wing.
It looks fantastic indeed, Lee! Thanks for the review! 😃
You could probably use one of these for each wing of a plane as well!
Happy new year! And stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
That'll work! Happy flying
So happy i saw this for i have been looking for an led strip for my 3.5" thanks Lee! 😎
Lovely...I Will get 1 definitely..thx for the review Lee
Happy New Year and good review.
You are costing me so much money! Another thing I MUST have!! 🤣
Great review and demo of a really cool LED setup.
Hi Lee, HAPPY NEW YORK ! I like them, I just finished my T1 Build and would love to fly with some LED's, Thanks again for the video
650mAh at 12V is about 7.8W
1.56A at 5V is about 7.8W
Checks out.
I'm curious, however, if the Cleanflight Family (Betaflight, iNav, etc) all have a max of 32 LED addresses, how are the 126 on the Meteor set treated when controlled by the FC?
They are not designed to be controlled by the flight controller... Happy flying!
@@Painless360 Oh, so the TX and RX pads are strictly for the advertised wireless FC control? (I mean, that's awesome, don't get me wrong). Roger that!
Happy New Year Lee!
I'm presently building a Bee35 frame which included these LEDs. I think SpeedyBee really missed an opportunity to make a great product by not letting the flight controller control the LEDs directly. It wouldn't take much processing power to pass the LED control from the flight control on to the LEDs. Even though I have these LEDs, I'm still thinking of using WS2812 LEDs instead.
That's really cool!
WOW Im first for a change. they are cool for the price
very interesting..I will order❤
That's really cool🤩
Can the light strip itself be chopped into several pieces? Looks like a similar strip that does have soldering tabs under the sticky tape to split the strip
What type of battery should I use for stadalone opération? I want that on an avata 2. Is it ready for battery use out of the box? Thanks for this vid, your about the only one talking about other frames
You'd have to make some kind of lead to power it... best of luck
Try out these small NeoPixel Sticks with WLEDs. As WiFi Controller a small ESP8266 or ESP32.And NeoPixel App on smartphone.
WLED projects are also cool at home.
Cool, could be used for anything then, and could you join two together? To get more length, say for an Esk8? I'd trust speedybee before some ebay clone with app.
I'm not sure. I think the controller only addresses the LEDs expected to be in the strip as supplied.... Best of luck
That's awesome
So cool 😎
Could also be useful to put on the back of a bike or backpack
Ha come a long way, since the quad I built from Chinese parts years ago, it looked like an alien head, groove allowed led strips, weight was a problem . The problem was the thin composition shell, oops don't bump into anything ...it's night flight resulted in a rough landing ....it cracked like a boiled egg I think it's store under the basement steps never to fly again a reminder to build stronger... happy 2024 take care.
