Despite everything that's happened between them (the good and the bad) there is no one else Villanelle is more connected to than Eve.

I have my own Villanelle…and I hate that we can’t be together. I love a psychopath, who I let myself be vulnerable to 9 years ago. She destroys me and ruins things over and over, and yet, I cannot move on, cos just like Villanelle says, “That would ruin everything.” I don’t know what to do, but everything that Villanelle said to Martin, hit home to how I feel about her. Perhaps I am Villanelle and she is my Eve…and the universe keeps bringing us back together only to rip us apart over and over again.
This sounds crazy, but I can actually relate to that. It's why I was/am so obsessed with the show.
"My" Villanelle is even a blonde Russian named Oksana who resembles Jodie Comer in the role. She's not an assassin of course, just someone very damaged and quiet possibly a psychopath or sociopath. Childhood trauma. I realize how insane this sounds.
We met in 2011 and reconnected again in 2022. This last time was even more intense. Things fell apart because you can't really have a long lasting relationship with someone like that. But there is something between us that I have never had with anyone else. I understand your pain.

This is so beautiful and ahh I just wish Eve would accept her feelings (I haven't seen ep6 yet so I don't know anything of what happens there) cos she so clearly cares about Villanelle but we'll just have to wait and see I guess. There's really not long to go and I really hope they explain what happened between s3 and 4!

I REALLY hope she will, eventually. Like she has to at least accept it and let Villanelle know.
A part of me expects to gain some kind of clarity on that gap between seasons in the finale, so hopefully they added some information or a flashback or something related to it!

I’ll be a bit disappointed and quite surprised if there is nothing to suggest what may have happened after the bridge scene as right now that’s the thing making most of the season a lot more confusing. I’m really enjoying this season but it’s not quite to the same level as the previous 3 I don’t think but still a few more episodes to go so we will see!
