    What kind of surface cleaner are you using? With high pressure or with SH?

    I’m in the process of getting my LLC reviewed by the state, but when everything is up and going I’m definitely sticking to the Southeast Products.

    Justin, I recently purchased Southeast Softwash Surfactant and I am using a foam cannon for application. I am having trouble with it working. I have the surfactant and bleach in the cannon. Is there a specific amount of each I should put in or a specific bleach? I am using Clorox outdoor bleach right now. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

      You can't do a entire house with a foam cannon unless you plan to fill it 200 times plus your not going to get enough SH to do anything

      You can do snow removal. Like roofs and sidewalks and driveways. That’s the easiest with no start up cost.

    Question: are all of those chems straight applications to any surfaces or does it need to be diluted?

    • @nave2295
      @nave2295 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      im pretty sure it depends on the surface, stuff like concrete can handle stronger chemicals but if you were to be doing roofs or the side of houses I believe diluting is better so there arent big differences in color

    Do you ever offer to wash a customers car(s) as another upsale on your way out? I'm talking, just a basic foam, wipe/brush, and rinse.

    • @ridenorthwest1687
      @ridenorthwest1687 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I used to do this. The problem is people get a lot more picky about their car and you run the risk of getting blamed for scratching or missing spots or sun spots. I thought this was a good idea until I started doing it often. If you're going to offer this service I'd suggest doing your homework on some detailing practices that auto detailers use and use the initial service to judge whether a customer is comfortable enough with you to be able to offer that service. I've quit offering it entirely just because I'd rather pack up and move onto the next house.

      I personally wouldn't due to the fact there is so much more you would have to learn thats completely separate than pressure/soft washing. Detailing is like a separate business in of itself. That being said, you could have two services, two teams. Team one having expertise in pressure/soft washing and team two for detailing and keep them separate. Have a detailing team and a pressure washing team. That's how I would do it anyway. Everyone is different doesn't mean I'm right

      I do the washes on vehicles for $5/ft. Rinse, foam, soap, hand brush, rinse, air compressor dry, hand dry. It takes about 30 minutes on a car when you have your hoses out already and I have a minimum of $150 for a one time. I have a reoccurring monthly for $100 on vehicles. Works for me. Auto detailing makes less than my regular services, but it's a great filler and fun to do.

      From what I’ve been learning the optimal psi and gpm for pressure washing cars is roughly 1100 and 1.8. Isn’t the pw you’re using for household much stronger than that? It seems like the risk of damage would be much higher but if you’ve been doing it a while maybe not. Thanks!

    • @eg6nate
      @eg6nate ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@annagraham6204 I have not started, I'm putting a plan together. I would not be using that kind of pressure on a car😅 just trying explore any upsell opportunities.

    Hey serious question. When you go into a job to wash just the drive way should the removal of oil stains be added as a add on service or be factored into the price because of the use of a separate treatment? Please and thank you! ^_^🙏

      Make sure the customer is aware up front that just pressure isn’t going to get this stain completely up.

    Small note: None of those chemicals work in Hawaii, the lava rock red dirt and salt breeze damage all kinds of surfaces and nothing can restore them. Sucks to live on an island but I enjoy watching you folks in the continental US clean stuff so easily.
