People throw random shit all the time. Esp bulk items. Quite fascinating to see what households would throw. And someone on my floor doesn't take their bulk stuff down but leaves it at the chute area.

Well it wasn't rubbish nor litter but I did see a corpse who jumped from the block I was at and he landed near the lift landing area...probably minutes before I exited the lift...so yeah.

Very yes in Clementi, those local old birdie and some foreigners. It is a helpless feeling, just like seeing our local students messed up at Beach BBQ pits.

Thanks for producing this series of videos. I feel for this uncle. I hope that people will be more considerate when they are disposing their rubbish. When they dispose their rubbish responsibly, it can make their work safer and less hazardous.
Also hope that the town council can change the green rubbish bin to include more safety features (e.g., stopper, working wheels) to make work safer for these cleaners too.
Thank you to all the cleaners who help to keep Singapore a cleaner country. 🙏🏻 appreciate their hard work and dedication.

This is extremely educational for all esp. the younger generations. I’m lucky that I do not have to face the sanitary pad or shit like the cleaners. As someone who had worked in an incineration plant, it’s really extremely tough not only for the physical well being but as well as mental. Most incineration had only a handful of local and out of the handful are mostly aging. Most would quit on the first few days.

Though i am a guy,my mom always tell me that sanitary pads should be disposed properly as it contained used blood.
Likewise child diapers should be sealed properly & throw at the correct place.
My mom say that bad spirits may lick those sanitary pads if it not sealed & throw at the correct place.

I visited Singapore a lot, just like other countries, the locals here also engage in what society perceive as less glamorous jobs, but these type jobs are essential and play a big part in keeping the general community clean and orderly. I always greet estate cleaners whenever I see them even with a simple good morning/evening

First world cost of living but third world morals. Littering is sadly still so prevalent in our society. It's time for the authorities stop putting up posters to encourage these immorals to behave. Real punitive action should be taken against these people.

We don't deserve having these individuals serve us, nor the good things we get in life. If we don't even know how to throw soiled sanitary pads in a proper bin, or pick up your own pet's poo, or understand the dangers of high-rise littering, or just simply how to treat a fellow human being properly, then we really don't deserve anything good or beneficial to us in our lives.

Really depends on how the Town Council managers supervise the workers and how the PAP MP manage the TC. A former MP cum Mayor collecting hundreds of thousands a year just let the TC manager do as they please despite receiving feedback from residents and witnessed for himself how badly maintained the estate was with pyrohazards of giant burning cages being allowed to be set up literally next to the bedrooms of residents and also void decks were regularly let out as funeral parlours even though the deceased was not even a resident of the block nor even from the area.
