Star Wars Outlaws is an upcoming action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft under license by Lucasfilm Games. The game takes place during the period between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and is set to be released in 2024.

A han solo game? From Ubisoft? A white male lead in this current activist social climate? No dev studio would dare touch an idea like that. Notice it’s all female leads in most games, and if it’s a dude he’ll get race swapped. The journos will lambast it to the moon, and another internet rage war will commence. It’s not impossible to get a Han Solo game, but given how much of a bad boy ladies man his character is, no studio would even be allowed to do it, the game concept would probably be killed in its crib before it gets a chance. There’s a rot in the mainstream gaming industry.

I hope there will be a character customization. Being able to change clothing pieces or wearing battle armor and customizing the blasters or other weapons would be so awesome. Kind of like in Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor.
They really made that guy from the Warriors movie look good.

The background music certainly sounds epic and in line with the tone of Star Wars music of the past ❤.

I just want to be able change her hair and have lots of outfits that make it worth exploring like stellar blade. Pants, shirts and skirts and dresses and robes with hoods that pull up. An open star wars game is a missed opportunity. All the clothes look tomboyish. We already got to games with jedi survivor and fallen order with lots of outfits kinda like those. There are so many cool clothes in star wars shows and stuff. Why cant we make the character our own with choices for the individual
It wont have the story line but the Star Wars mods for Starfield is already looking as good as Outlaws, and they're just getting started.

Ik star wars isn't in a good place right now, and the pricing of the game is ridiculous, but people are being really negative, and for the wrong reasons. Giving reasons like 'it's gonna be bad because the protagonist is female' is stupid. No one was complaining about not having gender customisation in fallen order, but when the protagonist is female they do. If the game is anything like what this gameplay preview suggests it will be good, and looks to be quite faithful to the star wars canon/ vibe in general, and people shouldn't bash it for the wrong reasons. criticize star wars for the awful tv shows they've been making that start rewriting the canon, for the sequels and potentially cancelling things like eclipse, but don't attack them for this game just cause it has a female in it.
The main reason people are pissed at this game is because some missions are behind a fucking pay wall your already having to pay like 70 bucks and now I gotta pay 130 or whatever the fuck for more main story missions when they should be included in the game that’s just fucking robbery my guy

This is what upsets me about star wars games. The cheesy combat! Knocking out an armoured enemy with one gun but. The cheesy unrealistic gun fights. I wanna see something cool, not the same things we've been seeing for decades!

If I was the actress I’d feel a little insulted by seeing how they intentionally animated her face uglier than she is in real life. I mean she’s a good looking woman and they botched her face to appease the insecure few who would complain that a video game character is too pretty. This isn’t even an issue with male characters for most of us. For example Kratos is a tall muscular god which obviously a big percentage of us gamers don’t look nearly as good but no one is complaining cause no one wants to play as a 5’5 skinny guy. it’s a video game it’s not supposed like we wanna play as some normal looking guy.
It’ll be so refreshing to play something not about jedis .. it gets so old when there’s WAY more to SW then Jedi
