Glad to see you've got an imperial adjustable to go with the metric spanners, very good :) It's amazing how quickly what looks like a basic kit can add up to in cost. My boss was quite shocked when I showed him all the things I use to do my job. Kind of funny really! But also scary, if my main bag goes walkies that's £2k gone by the time you include the laptop. Then you've got all the test equipment, and some tools I've made/modified.
Yep, certainly adds up quickly. I can't imagine the sinking feeling the tradies have when they come out in a morning and find their van has been broken into. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I like it - it would be nice to look at the full testing regime on a desktop AC or DC motor single and three phase using the European British standards it would need thinking about to layout but I suspect that series of videos would be something I know myself and others would be very keen to see and hear from you especially given your experience and expertise. Even a series going through the published standard without the practical elements would be equally interesting you could compile it across several videos.
Thanks for watching and commenting MM. Thanks also for the video idea, I would need to check on the relevant standards as most of the IEC deal more with type testing rather than routine testing. They are also copy-righted document, so I would not be able to do anything direct from them without permission from the IEC.
