It doesn’t matter what pump you get. I use a soccer pump and I met a mls coach that said it matters how much air you put it not the pump you use. You can easily put the right amount of air even with a cycle pump.

I mean you can use but preferably try to have a football pump, if the job is done by the cycle pump its okay. Just the air pressure that comes from a cycle pump is very high for a football, if not done right you can burst your football.
