I'm prepping to SM my first equity show and these videos are helping so much. I was aware of you before, but having quick answers to pull out to remind myself that I know what I'm doing is so incredibly calming
I've been doing esports events in an Arena at a university. This is the best explanation I've seen! Thank you! I don't have a traditional production background so this was very helpful.
🧡🧡🧡 thank you Fredo! Some are already, even professors I don’t know personally! Next time we are on a zoom, I’ll show you the analytics for what sites are driving traffic- so many .edu websites! It’s so cool to see.
your video is reeeally helpful. I have one question, what is the difference between STRIKE and TRACK? STRIKE means when you take out the props or sets which you don't use again from the stage?
Great question! Strike is “remove from stage” and Track is “transport backstage from one wing to the other to get it ready for its next entrance”. Usually it’s easier to track things during a less busy scene, so they’re often not done at the same time!
@@HalfHourCall ahh! I see!! Thank you sooooo much for your quick response! So mostly we use STRIKE , I guess. And do you have any videos of how to call cues?? I usually work with Japanese crews, but this time I will work with American crews,,, so I was wondering if there is a particular way to say...

Oh my gosh, BLESS your entire account. You've saved me.

So glad it's helpful! Thanks for watching!
If I was a SM professor, I would make your Half Hour Call required viewing for all students!!

Is there any software in which I can see the evolution during the show?
My weirdest cue? Scene change to Library on GO after pea/"cocks"
