- I had less than 24 hours to get an Elektron Digitone home from work and make a video. If I didn't succeed, Elektron would send Mr. Dataline (Cenk) for me and my family. This.... is the Digitone Challenge.

When the ambient strings come in and the lead comes in a bit softer i just got this massive wave of relaxation and nostalgia. Literal musical asmr. love it.

Yep this little beast has tones that hit all the marks. The FM engine + subtractive + additive + p locks + c trigs + proper dacs + LFO's + 2 filters etc etc etc make this an FM core machine to rival all others. I was initially against it, but honestly, Elektron have turned me 180 on this one. I now think it's worth the extra $$ vs other FM alternatives for sure. btw Great video ! !

A few years old, but you got me on this digitone thing now...
To the best of your recollection, is the audio in this straight from the hardware or did you process it? I really need something that sounds great with on-device effects so I can be off my damn computer. The Microfreak isn't doing it for me in that area, the OP1 is a bit too hard for me since I can't edit what I record, and the Peak is the other option but gonna require a computer to make a thing.
So, I'm intrigued by the digitone now-again, your doing.
