@@preciousbloomsja I got so.many ideas from his garden. For instance I had a number of clay pot pieces lying around. I got out my drill and restarted an old practice of mine to mount the Dens on them. Roheem is so mature in what he does. He sounds like he's been in the business for decades. Refreshing!! So glad for him ... I'm always admonishing my friends for "buying pots"!! I use anything which can hold anything, including driftwood!! I commented on this video over a week ago, but it seems it wasn't posted, so here we go again. Roheem I am feeling sooo very proud. Like a parent watching her child walk across the graduation stage!!! I feel like shouting 'that's my son'!!!! I was certainly my pleasure to assist you on your journey and to gift you plants. Roheem is very passionate about his orchids, and keeps me on my toes sometimes with the questions he asks. Happy you share that load with me Elaine (Precious Blooms), and thanks to you too for all the guidance you give him. Featuring him in this way is just awesome and it is my hope that this video will inspire many more persons - and especially the younger Jamaicans - to get out into the garden. 'Faith Over Fear' as you said!!!! Roheem is also the youngest male member of the Jamaica Orchid Society - a future President I am sure. I must also highlight Mr. Claude Hamilton and Mrs. Shirley Whyte who also gifted Roheem with plants, as well as Mr. Burrell Scarlett of Evergrow Garden Centre who gifted him pots and potting material. I am particularly happy that he is able to share the names of his plants - Claude would certainly be impressed by this! So Roheem, I too await my invitation to come sit in your garden and sip some tea among the orchids. Congrats on your orchid journey so far. Congrats also on your accomplishments at school - you will make a fine doctor one day. I have no doubt. @@preciousbloomsja I got so.many ideas from his garden. For instance I had a number of clay pot pieces lying around. I got out my drill and restarted an old practice of mine to mount the Dens on them. Roheem is so mature in what he does. He sounds like he's been in the business for decades. Roheem I am feeling sooo very proud. Like a parent watching her child walk across the graduation stage!!! I feel like shouting 'that's my son'!!!! I was certainly my pleasure to assist you on your journey and to gift you plants. Roheem is very passionate about his orchids, and keeps me on my toes sometimes with the questions he asks. Happy you share that load with me Elaine (Precious Blooms), and thanks to you too for all the guidance you give him. Featuring him in this way is just awesome and it is my hope that this video will inspire many more persons - and especially the younger Jamaicans - to get out into the garden. 'Faith Over Fear' as you said!!!! Roheem is also the youngest male member of the Jamaica Orchid Society - a future President I am sure.
I must also highlight Mr. Claude Hamilton and Mrs. Shirley Whyte who also gifted Roheem with plants, as well as Mr. Burrell Scarlett of Evergrow Garden Centre who gifted him pots and potting material.
I am particularly happy that he is able to share the names of his plants - Claude would certainly be impressed by this!
So Roheem, I too await my invitation to come sit in your garden and sip some tea among the orchids.
Congrats on your orchid journey so far. Congrats also on your accomplishments at school - you will make a fine doctor one day. I have no doubt. I must also big up your parents who continue to support you with this passion - they in fact started you off with your "Dendrobium Birthday".
