Hello Jacqueline, I am happy to share my passion with the world and I thank you for taking the time out to support it, Yes we have many native orchids here that are being destroyed through the clearing of lands etc. It is best if hobbyist grow them as this is one way of preserving them. Some persons are not happy when they are taken out of the wild, but if we don't take harvest and care for them, they may become extinct. Love it! Love! Love! The healthy Dendrobium plants look like "Dendrobium Bigibbum". I have quite a few in my mini orchid garden - but not as profuse, not yet. These are just gorgeous!!

Hello friend, based on my research it seem to be a Pedilanthus Tithymaloides nana 'green'. Also know as Zig Zag plant, and Euphorbia Tithymaloides. Local name is devil's backbone. It is so beautiful, the leaf formation is lovely. Happy growing.💖🥂
hello Khads, yes I actually grow most of mine in plastic pots. I use construction gravel and a small amount of charcoal. I find that they do very well in that medium. Happy growing friend.

Growers use fertilizers to manipulate what they want the plants to do and so some persons will use bloom boosting fertilizers that are made specifically for orchids to inspire blooms. Hey Drea, I figured more or less to prevent rotting. I don't think it's a must for them to be mounted upside down. I mount mine upside up and they still do well. They really enjoys being mounted. 🥂👌😄

Yes Annie, some of them are. However you have to acclimate them by doing it gradually.
