Your audio is terrible! I had to actually move my thumb and finger to hit a button lightly to make adjustments. Please fix this major issue!! There, I did it for ya, now you can enjoy the video 😉

Dont stress too much about the audio, we can hear you just fine and its the content that counts. Good work on the tractor, good care and maintenance like yours and it'll keep serving you well.
Cap’n, the 755 needed a little TLC! I could tell how happy she was as she swaggered down the driveway. And why not… got her feeding tubes plumbed, her pigtail routed and her mask replaced. She’s all set for adventure… better take the key with you, she’s liable to party on her own! I am sending a package your way today… I’ll text or email you the tracking info. It’ll be sent to the market. Hope you have nothing less than a wonderful day!
I'll take a steady camera hand over weak audio any day! I should know, even my name has SoundTEK in it. I seldom have to adjust the audio up or down during the video so I call that a win. IF anyone else feels like complaining drag yourself off the couch, into the great outdoors and try to video something without wind noise, background noise and so on. BTW I am sitting in my recliner typing this and NOT complaining about the sound quality. Always a Great Job Mike!
Working like a champ hoss, need to make a bolt on chain link drag to pull behind it to pull a little material with you and can flip it up onto the back when not needed. Just a thought
Another great video "Mr. Maintenance " LOL I'm glad I waited till the end, and didn't comment about the audio. See You on the next one. Have a great week!
I like the Popular Mechanics wrench. If you had a full set, you could sell these antiques and make a fortune!!! A steam cleaning of that engine should be on the list of to do items for this tractor.
I do love your humour. You come across as a really nice guy, doing real projects with real constraints. It's easy to relate to, amusing and instructive. Perfect. Thank you for putting in the time to make these videos.

Love watching your videos, The way you appear to be always thinking how something works and/or can be done. Build it and try it out - make it better again.
Thanks Mike ... great video. You were correct in running the winch cables to the battery ... you eliminated the additional resistance of the longer winch cable AND the smaller ground cable for the tractor. Regards, R
Worked on about a dozen Yanmars over last few years. One of my favorite engines to work on. Last 3 cyl I rebuilt: once I had the parts in my hand an in-frame took 4 hours from start to start up.New record for me.One of the last tractors built (old ones and not the new ones) designed with field repair in mind.
Motor mounts wore on on the John Deere with the yanmar for me.Fuel system was acting up and flushed tank and replaced all lines.Bottom of tank was a mess. After it was like it should be.Started smooth and ran correct.
Another great video. Also be sure to put a rag down the air box intake to the top of the motor, sure wouldn't want something falling in without notice and damaging the old girl.
Well Hay there capitan Mike and Co ....it looks like the little man has done a great job of setting up that mig welder ...brilliant as always dude .... Peace n love from Cumbria UK 🇬🇧 ❤

Don’t worry about the audio, I watch plenty of channels where the audio is much worse and they don’t GAF. You are putting in the effort and that’s more than enough for me.

Hi Mike. Pleased you received the oil wrenches, as I watched you time and again use the fan belt method and as an ex mechanic on All sizes of machines from CAT D9 to small ride on mowers as well as chainsaws thought something like what I used would not go amiss in your toolbox. My 1070 is about the same thing but just 4cyl and the best tractor to own with a front-end loader and 4x4 and is a94 and still doesn't burn any oil. And love my Yanmar engine and have one own my marine boat what a pur they make.

Nice work Mike! I know your getting the comments but you do need to address the motor mounts. The rubber flex between the flywheel and the drive shaft can't take that much movement and it will destroy it sooner than later. Glad you got that grill locked down! 😉

Another great video, retired ag mechanic here never worked on a small tractor like that but is it possible u have a broken motor mount, just seems like jumps around alot, I definitely could be wrong. Keep up the good work
Tractor sounds like it runs way better and has more power. If you clean the crud off the top of the battery and clean the negative post and cable, you may find you don’t need a new battery yet. I’ve been told the crud on the top can allow electric to flow between posts. Best wishes. Kevin

Mike, I also have a JD755 and had to do some maintenance/repairs over the last several years. Latest one is a slightly larger amperage alternator. When taking it apart, I noticed that someone had totally removed the thermostat. Grrrrrrr! Also had a bad glow plug. So, one new head gasket and a new set of glow plugs and it is running smoother than it ever has. One other semi major issue was a very bad right rear motor mount. I rebuilt with some large washers and a block of rubber. But while working on this I noticed that the driveshaft coupler/isolator was badly damaged. This is a large round block of rubber with steel inserts to isolate the flywheel from the driveshaft. I suspect the bad motor mount allowed so much lateral movement, that it trashed the coupler. Luckily John Deere still stocks this part, but they're not cheap. Fix the motor mount pronto. Thanks for the videos. I know they are a lot of work.
It is a DB Elecrrical, # 400-44041 (Amazon). It is rated at 35 amps, but it is physically larger. No worries on audio. No idea what Wade did with his sawmill track but that or smaller yard track would be great for weight. Set it in a “tray” and easy to remove
Usually, the shorter the ground wire, the better. On a winch though, I'm not sure. I had one on my truck, and the battery was pretty much the shortest ground I had. Plus on an attachment/trailer, the battery is always a good choice. No worries about not having enough contact through the hitch.

Usually, the shorter the ground wire, the better. On a winch though, I'm not sure. I had one on my truck, and the battery was pretty much the shortest ground I had. Plus on an attachment/trailer, the battery is always a good choice. No worries about not having enough contact through the hitch.
