I'm loving the clearly-pictured correlations. Keep it up!

I don't understand why mainstream economists can say that price controls are bad, and then turn around and say that by putting a price control on present money, the economy can get something for free. It's completely inconsistent. Their idea of a healthy economy sounds like they just want people consuming more than they would absent the price control

That's because Neoclassical (mainstream) economics splits into Micro and macro. Austrian capital theory (and by extension Austrian business cycle theory) is Austrian economics applied to the whole economy, deducing theory from praxeology, whereas Neoclassical macro is a pseudo science that looks at the correlations between arbitrary aggregates to induce a theory.

not sure that I follow the graphs, seems to imply that higher savings and lower interest rates go hand in hand? Okay, he explains, this issue later, but then why aren’t real sources available? what is a real resource? is what he is saying that entreneurs will not provid ethe full resources because their expectations of profitability is different?
then is another analogy the daily stock market? for example, a price quote for Acme corp is the present value of future earnings? we have toestimate future earnings and it’s neve rprecise, so there is always over and under valuation at any point in time. if you buy over valued then you lose or it takes forever to recoupinvest, ent, buy undervalued and you may see profitability higher than the overall market? Just trying to understand this, as the ravings and interest rate, and real resources are hard for me to follow.

Tom Wolfe in Bonfire of the Vanities says any competent prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich. Why? Violation of Covid regulation.

I do not take the Austrian school seriously. Henry Charles Carey is the way to go.
