Finally ! I have found someone else who called their daughter Elliot ! It is such a lovely name my 30 year old prefers to go by Elle now but I just love her full name
This pattern is so beautiful, I crochet and Im starting to knit, I think this would be my first knitting project, I have 5 baby girls between family and friends so this would be an amazing gift! ❤
Very insightful thank you! I have family that all seems to be having babies and I've been playing it safe by only knitting them little blankets and hats, but I'll keep your ideas in mind for my own future kids. Your licorice sweater is lovely. Don't worry about the negative Nancy in the comments, she's just mad that she can't improvise for herself and doesn't know how to skip ahead. Keep making videos, I can only imagine how hard it must be to film while keeping an eye on the baby monitor. Much love and happy new year!
Thanks for the encouragement - this was one of my first few videos so I know it is a bit rough, everyone starts somewhere!! I’m glad that you found this helpful. Hats and blankets are always great gifts 🥰
I really wanted to do all wool covers, but ended up finding so many (non-wool) cloth diaper lots on facebook marketplace I just went that route. I should try one of my pre-folds under the wool bloomers but they aren't particularly dense/felted so I'm a little nervous about leaks.
I think baby garments in fingering weight are super nice - it definitely makes sophisticated, heirloom pieces in my opinion!! It just takes a little bit of extra time and love 🥰
Haha, I just started knitting again and just a few weeks ago I realised what I was doing wrong ;) I knew something was off, but for the life of me, I couldn't figure it out. Until I read a blog about mistakes first time knitters make XD
This video began with the poster (didn't get her name) stating that bonnets and sweaters were the most practical items to knit. We were then 45 minutes into the video before she showed a bonnet, and 57 minutes in before she showed a pullover sweater, which was her own design and beautiful. I would definitely purchase a pattern from her for the sweater, but I must say, watching this video was excruciating! Like pouring molasses or watching paint dry. She talks slowly, which is fine, but she hems and haws a lot, and has a super frustrating habit of forgetting what yarn she used on an item, or forgetting to mention the name of the yarn. She's a talented knitter, and her baby is adorable, but making videos is not her strength. Please focus on publishing a pattern for that cute sweater instead!

Wool and cloth diapers is great. I did wool and pre folds.

I am a new knitter and I have a friend that is due in April so I would do it in fingering.

Yes! I did the same thing, just looking at my knitting like, this is wrong but I don’t know why!!
What about doing for new knitters. I have made a tank top for me in a bamboo yarn. So I am ready
I love your knitted garments but this was a hard watch
Or sport wt
