Oh my goodness!! Thank you so much for our Rosie update! She looks amazing! I asked about her last week during your live feed. Yeah, thanks, guys! 😉And you made my day!!! I teach third grade and it's almost the end of the year. It's not as great as you think. (yes, I love my summer vacations and all of my wonderful holidays off) But this teacher is better at hellos than goodbyes. And looking forward to saying hello to my little NC Doodle one day. Not just yet. Two years since Cooper passed and four years until retirement! In the meantime, I'll keep watching and enjoying all of your TH-cam videos. PS - Have you thought about Patreon? Goldendoodles are awesome - lots of work with the coat, but they are truly unique: smart, stubborn, fast zoomies and lap dogs, healthy and so cool! I’ve had many mixed breeds and full breed dogs but nothing comes close to this charming mix
I fostered a Goldendoodle from a local shelter and was quite confused as to what he was. I did the DNA test and it came back 68% poodle. People would ask what kind of dog is he? To which I respond “a hot mess” and now I know a F2B unfurnished. He’s 74lbs with the most amazing hair, I’m jealous of his coat! He’s certainly not your typical looking golden and I was so confused. I clearly knew a backyard breeder was probably involved coming from the shelter, so the unfurnished portion makes complete sense. Thank you for the information.
I have a first gen and a multi-gen golden doodle. Love them both. My preference is my first gen. He sheds some, but he does not mat. I love his personality. He is huge…over 100 pounds. My multi-gen does not shed but the potential for matting is a lot. She is about 55 pounds. She is super affectionate…but also super nervous.
Hi Aaron thanks for all the explanation on the puppies this is very informative the one I want is an F1 BB miniature size because like we spoke on the phone my son and I are both allergic 😢. And by the way happy to see that Rosie is doing great🙏🏼👍🏼
Oh Rosie!! She’s so happy and silly, I’m glad to see she’s doing so well. ❤ wow, so many choices with golden doodles. I’ve seen some labradoodles and the F1a has some wave with straight fur and has the beard, but I guess with your F1a they have a wave since goldens do have a bit of wave to their coat. Our decision was pretty easy, female or male. We have a golden retriever. 😄 thank you for shedding some light on all the types 😊 I love the teddy bear faces!!

Hey I love your videos, I have learned alot from your videos, thank you so much!! I had a question and I hope you can help me out, What type of golden doodle will a F1B breed with a F1BB be the outcome?
Hi! I’m interested in a golden doodle that isn’t a toy size and also not over 60 lbs. fully grown. We have family with seasonal allergies in the house. We have two small kids, one being non-verbal. I know we have to teach our kids how to be around dogs and the main things I’d worry about is touching of the dogs face, and also laying down being eye level with them. Otherwise, my kids are very gentle. I love the teddy bear look and wavy coat vs super curly, non shedding (as much as possible) - which generation would you recommend based on all that info lol. I know it’s a lot but this journey will probably take a year or two to decide
You are such an amazing breeder! Could I ask for your recommendation for a harness?? I actually have an Aussidoodle (Etta) but really struggled with what to choose. She's my little lovely
Hi I love watching your videos we got our first golden doodle last year he will be 1 next month he is a F1bb we are looking to get another golden doodle but I’m trying to figure out what to get we want the more teddy bear look this time around and we are looking for a female to breed with our male any tips would be great
Hi Erin, for a multigen dog , what % of golden retriever and % of poodle is in this generation ? That’s the one thing you didn’t mention that I’m really curious about. And if I want a medium size dog that is the most hypo allergenic, would it be the multigen ? thx so much for making this very informative video 👍🏽👍🏽
multigens are variable because it is anything after the second generation. Traditionally its f1b to f1b, which means it still should be 75% poodle and 25% golden. I hope that helps!
Thank you it is so informative! I understand going on a long flight is probably risky for a puppy, but any chance to get a dog from you internationally? I cannot find reputable and legit breeders locally😢
we could work out something, the country that we'd be going to sometimes has their own standards. Like they have to be old enough for a rabies shot. BUt email me, erin@doodlesofnc.com and we can work on it together.
I am thinking about getting a puppy and I like the goldendoodle. I just don't know which generation to get. I want one that is on the smaller side and doesn't shed a lot. Can you help me in deciding what to get. Also, how much would one of them cost?
Hi , Love your video!! I have a 2 years old F1b aussiedoodle she hasn't have her 1st heat yet. I would like her to have her 1st heat then spay her for her healthy future. Now i am concern she might has health problem. Before her annual checkup i would like to hear your opinion. Should I get a blood work to find out her problem or just set up appointment to spay her? Thank you.
We have had moms not have their cycle until 2 years . It worries us a little bit! But I don’t know anything you can do about it according to our reproductive vet.
@@DoodlesofNC Thank you for your quick response. I am a little relief to hear that they will eventually have their cycle. Now, I will wait for another year to spay her. The petco coach said dog usually in heat during the spring and fall season, is that correct? Thanks again
Does a goldendoodle that's not f1 50/50 still get plenty of the golden retriever personality? The golden retriever is the breed I really love and want but is too big. So a Goldendoodle would give me a mini version of a golden and though a mix, still have a high chance of the golden playfulness/sillyness & antics/intelligence (esp with the poodle part)/child-friendly/water-loving etc. With the other versions, wouldn't the percentage of golden personality traits go down quite drastically?
@@PackAdventures actually, it wasn’t. I was constantly getting her checked at the Dr, and they had to keep getting her medicine. I was doing everything I could possibly do and spent HUNDREDS of dollars trying to help my dog. It turned out it was the daycare that was not upkeeping the place, so when she’d get over it and I could let her play with puppies, she would get it all over again. It was super stressful and I took her out of that daycare. And when she was sick, she would poop her kennel at night and immediately eat it. What am I supposed to do? Stay awake 24/7? She doesn’t make any sound when she has to potty to this day.
@@PackAdventures to add to that, I even saved her life once. The vet wouldn’t listen to me when I told them she had something wrong with her bladder. They told me keep monitoring her. She had the biggest struvite stone at 8.5 weeks, and her bladder almost bursted. I had to Google what to do because the vet wasn’t helpful. I cried while expressing her bladder because I was so scared. But finally a stone bigger than a pea came out! And she was a happy puppy immediately. I spend $350/ month just for a specialized food for her and it hurts my pocket. But the last thing I would do is neglect my dog.
always try a rescue first, we currently have a mini doodle, she was a breeder female dog in a puppy mill, biggest challenge and heart breaking . Be careful and please please consider a rescue ,
I always say go with your gut instinct! If you can meet the parents come to their house for puppy picking those would be ideal things. Or you can just get one from us and we can fly to Florida for you! 🤣
I looked through the website and was curious if you mandate altering all dogs or can people choose not to? The reason I’m asking is because there’s becoming more and more evidence to suggest that altering a dog can lead to health issues.
We do, just to ensure we don’t have any accidental babies. Our vets have not shared in the same thoughts to not get dogs fixed. I would love to see research you have to learn more!

Do you have any f1b mini golden-doodle but 10lbs when full grown
Our smallest Puppies are around 15 pounds.
Look how happy she looks rolled over getting some belly rubs =))
Most of the dogs love belly rubs!
So if we were to get one who is F1B bred with a standard poodle what is that?
F1bb great for allergies!
always try a rescue first,
we currently have a mini doodle, she was a breeder female dog in a puppy mill,
biggest challenge and heart breaking .
Be careful and please please consider a rescue ,
I am so glad you were able to help a dog in need. Thank you for doing that!
hi, which one is the white mama and can puppies be over 30 lbs
hey! Usually if the parents are under 30lbs the puppies will stay under 30lbs also. I hope that helps.
@@DoodlesofNC thx
Great info! Do you know of a good goldendoodle breeder in North TX?
I don’t know anyone in Texas but I do know we can fly a puppy to you!
I so happy to see Rosie. ❤
❤️
So glad to Rosie she’s so beautiful ❤❤❤
I agree!
so what do i chose if i want a large dog 45+ lbs that doesn’t shed?
Large or a standard F1 B
Can you recommend a trusted breeder in Sydney, Australia?
I don't actually I am sorry!
If a doodle puppy's dad is half golden doodle half poodle and mom is half golden retriever half poodle, what would the puppy be classified as? Thanks
F2, for half and half’s
Rosie !!!!❤ so glad to see her again & doing so well. She LOVES those belly rubs. Lol
She does!
Where are you located honey? I have wanted one for so long and I’ve watched so many of your videos. I just found you and I’m in North Carolina.

Hi! How can I find reputable breeders in FL?
I always say go with your gut instinct! If you can meet the parents come to their house for puppy picking those would be ideal things. Or you can just get one from us and we can fly to Florida for you! 🤣
Goodness, how do you keep all of the different generations apart?
All in my head!!! 😂😂😂
Wow Rosy looks great
Yes! She made a miraculous recovery
what's the best way to get a F1BB that's under 30lbs?
a f1b back to a mini poodle
I’ve got a perfect F1. That’s fine enough for me. 😘
From California. Rosie and my Goldie look very similar 😂
I’m so glad!
What does F1B and a F 2B stand for?
F1b is a goldendoodle mixed back to a poodle, an F2b is a f1b with a goldendoodle - and then they bred to a poodle.
What generation of golden doodle would give you the low shedding benefit but look more like a golden than a poodle?
F2b have less shedding and the most like a golden! F1’s has some shedding but the most golden.
How old was Rosie in this video ?
8 months
How much are miniature goldendoodles? I want a female
Thank you
Hello! Our Goldendoodles are 3400. We will have more in June/july!
