BTW, you don't hv to hv any doubts on whether Lord Krishna & Karthigeya had some kind of communication, connection or relation in some way. In Chapter 10 of Bhagavad Gita, Krishna clearly says that I'm Karthikeya when I'm on war/battle field. That simple phrase is just enough to prove that they know each other in a very transcendental way.
