kat c they won first place for another show too. it's quite beautiful but the story behind it is very dark. it was dedicated to the soloist's boyfriend because 2 days before the show he died be a use of a breathing problem. he was friends with the whole team so it was quite hard for them to do that show.
This show (2015) was my senior year. The show you're referring to was Open Class 2013. There were two young men who contributed to the success of that program. One passed away in January, the other on April 1st. Both men were dating members of the guard at the time and were close friends of the other girls in MCG. If you want to see real, raw emotion, we performed at 2013 KIDA finals the day of the second man's funeral.

Sorry its a painful reminder of what has happened & continues to happen in this country & politicians still toy with this fact. Very very rarely does it ever have a happy ending or reunion.....praise these young champions for their performance.

I’m in the carmel high varsity guard and we were informed when I was in cadet guard that they got banned from competition for two years now they did a show called vogue it was really good though
I do not think this is true. They got a new director and most of the girls quit so they dropped out of world class but they definitely did not get banned

The program got a new director and staff after 2016, a lot of the girls quit, and the program had to rebuild. We were worked really hard, but there was no holding girls back or anything crazy. The program wasn't banned or anything--they just had to find their footing after a staff change.
