After my father passed, he also came to me in a dream to let me know he was fine, had his legs back and no longer sick. After that I never worried about him.
My dad, too. Came to my dream just after he ascended to the Abha Kningdom saiing special thanks to me for reciting Bahai prayers for him , when we, siblings were standing around him. 🙏 May The Pen of the Most High bless you dear Mr.Hooper for helping us to deepen our understanding in the Teachings with your uplifting and inspiring talks!
I am doing Book 1 with a Buddhist who is sincerely interested in what the bahai Faith has to say. He and I are using Paris Talks as a compliment to Ruhi book 1. This talk is certainly appropriate for Book 1 discussions. Thank you.
It is nearly half a century since [the Baha’i] principles were introduced in the United States of America, but with all the efforts that have been made we have not progressed as we should.... The time has come that we should arise from our slumber and pull the wool off our eyes and see the defect which is causing our stagnation. Avoiding questioners, and excommunications, are signs of weakness and anti-Baha’i principles. Independent investigation of truth should replace these flaws.

Thus, if we pray for a change of the actions of a leader of a country, is this a prayer in the same category for praying for healing of a another from a serious disease?
Is a series actions that lead to a a temporary result that affects millions of people, taken by the leader of a country, primarily due to fate or more from the desires of the individual?
Evil acts would never be predestined, but known, of course, to God. In a related thought, disobeying the will of God results in evil effects, and this cause and effect relationship is predestined; it is an inevitability, just as a strong wind blowing on a weak tree would make it fall.
