That scene with Young-woo advocating on behalf of her brother with Su-mi, telling her that she needs to put parenting before her ambition, is some of the best acting I've ever seen. I'm so happy that tonight I'll be able to see Park Eun-bin in her follow up role as the _Desert island Diva!_ It wasn't until watching this reaction that it occurred to me that Han San-yeo is a bigger villain than Tae Su-mi, because she is prepared to throw Young-woo to the media wolves and even interfere with an ongoing case just because of a 20 year old romantic dispute over a boy.
I have watched The Glory with you and your mother. I would just like to say how much I love hearing your mother become indignant and scornful when the situation calls for just such emotion. She is the soundtrack I never realized I needed. Thank you to both of you for your heartfelt reactions.
Thanks for all the reactions and thanks to your mother. I believe "My Mister" is one of the best dramas I have ever seen in any language (I am almost 50). However, seeing that you don't like crying it might not be for you, because you need tons of tissues (at least I did) before you get finally to that amazing finale. On the other hand, if you want a very funny show that is a mixture of many things with really good plot and amazingly great acting by the main actress then watch "Mr. Queen"
There's an unshown scene between Tae Soo-mi and Han Seon-Young that explains some of it. Apparently Tae Soo-mi stole Han Seon-Young and made him her husband. You can find that scene on YT somewhere.
Just watched your glory reactions and watched your woo young woo reactions say hi to your mom for me or anywounghasayo I was stationed in Korea back in the day for a few years then japan after that so pre k op and k drama and pre all female Japanese metal bands have to order EXTRE.E JOB its a comedy so many good series to choose from keep up the good work
Other Korean shows I would recommend are Crash Landing on You, Its Okay to Not Be Okay, Rain or Shine, and The Uncanny Counter. That last one only if you don’t mind a bit of supernatural afterlife/reaper fantasy. Tomorrow is another one with a reaper theme, though in this case a special unit of reapers tasked with preventing suicides. Abyss is another supernatural one, though with some plot twists that really requires you to suspend you sense of disbelief, and a casting for tone of the leads that really makes you question the premise of that casting. Basically an actress (Park Bo-young) who is incredibly attractive, and who is supposed to be noticeably and obviously less attractive than another one, though to my mind she is far more beautiful. She also stars in Oh, My Ghost, a romantic mystery dramedy, which deals with ghosts, possession, tand Korean Shamanism, though ultimately in a mostly cute and funny way. All this show are on Netflix, except the last one, which is on Amazon Prime. Though there is a Thai remake of that movie available on Netflix.
ur reaction videos w ur mom are too precious. wish i could do the same w mine (she's alive; just not interested in doing such things w me lol). pls do the 9-ep japanese series "first love" next! u & ur mom are gonna love it, i promise ✋🥲 p.s. higly rec watching the mv of the song that inspired it before getting into it!! it's by the v iconic utada hikaru.
@@RadinaMalina yes pls 🙏 i was just chatting w another commenter about how no reaction channels are picking it up when it's just as much of a masterpiece!! & the fact that it was inspired/based on an utada hikaru classic makes it kind of a big deal. characters are beautiful, storytelling is chef's kiss - i just know that u & ur mom are gonna have a lovely time!!
I didn't like how the mom only got proved right... Because of the child she had to give up her career. I myself would never have children, i like doing things that make me happy rather than be an obstacle for my happiness .
Hi, i'm new to your channel but i immediately love your reaction to this series (even tho i already saw it first), another recommended series for you is "Under The Queen's Umbrella", yes it is a period drama with another political issues but it also has a lot of moral values that i think still kinda related with issues these days (modern era) and a lot of comedies too ✌️
I have a theory. I think Woo Gwang-ho and Han Seon-young were a real item back in their youth, but somehow a once off mistake (maybe a drunken night out) he sleeps with Tae Soo-mi and she becomes pregnant. He does the right thing and does what he can to save the baby. Woo Gwang-ho ends up with an eternal grudge against Tae Soo-mi for having ruined her relationship with Woo Gwang-ho.
No, there is a deleted scene that explains it. You are close though. Tae So-mi's husband used to be Han So-young’s boyfriend when they all were in in law school together.
I really hoper there is another season, though from what I’ve read. the lead actress has expressed doubts as to whether she feels another one is necessary. Apparently she thinks the show he’d a natural end to it. The producer’s have definitely said hey would like to do another season, if t can get approved, and if Park Eun-bin is willing to sign on.

Throughout the series a recurring theme has been parenting. We see many examples of parenting in the episodes.
Thanks for all the reactions and thanks to your mother.

There is a deleted scene on You tube that explains the animosity between the two women.

I think in season 2 many things is going to be revealed especialy between two women
Two suggestions for Japanese Dorama classics: Densha Otoko (Train Man) and One Liter of Tears. Also, another epic K-Drama, "You're Beautiful."
One liter of tears...that's going to be interesting but also hard

Aww thank you so much! Yeah it’s very special for us to have these memories together! 🥹🥰 That sounds awesome I’ll add it to the list! 🫶🏼

Recommend another k-drama “ALCHEMY OF SOUL”
Alchemy of souls creates problems to reactors unfortunately. That's why there are so few reactions to it unfortunately :(
