I was wondering if you could log the cemetery names & what part of Georgia they're in .. city .. county??? Or at least state on the vid .. AND/OR list in comments area.
A beautiful Sunday morning, I'm alive, and I have no complaints. I hope everyone else is having the same kind of day, God is good. Loving the cemetery, and looking forward to part 2. Good to see the two Roberts together on a new cemetery venture, just don't seem right with one missing. Here's wishing you both good luck in the future.
There's something about old cemeteries that just draws me in. I got a little choked up at some of the epitaphs this time, though. Still so poignant despite all the years. The Other Robert doesn't seem as grouchy in this video! Maybe he finally got his steak sandwich? Love you guys!
I swear that is a Live Oak. If you look up "Live Oak trees" you will see some photos of trees that are named. Angel Oak lives in South Carolina, I think. Many are several hundred to more than a thousand years old. Seven Sisters oak lives in Louisianna and is VERY old! Thank you for sharing. I miss the south - the vistas here on the Pacific Coast are nice, but nothing beats The South for lovely scenery.
Whenever I see trees growing over old graves, I can't help but think of Roger Williams, the founder of Rhode Island. It is believed that an apple tree's root consumed his body and took on his body's shape. The root is currently on display at Brown University in the John Brown House.
I wonder if that beautiful tree was planted by a loved one for Mr. John.H. Toler? It looks to be quite old, Not sure of the species.Cool tree. Thanks for video R&R.
That tree intrigues me...was it a volunteer seedling? Surely no one would have deliberately planted it there, yet, it grew up incorporating the fence. How long would it have grown in that spot to accomplish that...?
The tree is an oak. It only takes one acorn to give life to a new oak tree. From my guess due to the approximate size of the trunk is probably about 85+ years.
@@cynthiastanley35 Thanks for the info. I have lots of seedling Monterey Pines, because the crows find the nuts inside the pine cones, and new seedlings pop up occasionally in my yard!
@@alanatolstad4824 Your welcome. Exactly just like the pines. I can't tell you how many seedlings that I have dug out of the ground so that I didn't have trees growing up against my house or in undesirable places in my yard.
God bless 💖 you two. You all are so caring ❤. Asking, the rock tombs, are they maybe settlers? I'm guessing because maybe there was nothing else around to have headstones. Theses are very haunting to me because Theses poor people will never have there names or their history mentioned again. I'm going to be cremated so it will be that way for me too. It's funny, not ha ha funny but, I don't care. My family may more then me. So maybe that's what it's really more about,, is family. Good job guys. Thank you so much 💓.
The first part was wonderful, Can't wait for the rest of it. Amazing history and you guys are GREAT !! Robert and Robert make a great team. Keep making the great videos !!! Love them !!
That is such a pretty cemetery . Nice to see care has been taken that it remains that way. That 1st gate you showed must have been common at one time as I remember one just like that on our yard way back. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤
Ha !! The fire ants must of been hibernating. When Robert Greenshirt was brushing off one of the graves inside the fence, I kept saying “ Be careful, be careful ! “
I think Side Step Adventures is my absolute favorite to WATCH!! ALWAYS such interesting videos! I've been away a MINUTE so I'm seeing if I missed anything and if SO then what! Lol loving the Adventure Frm afar in Florida!! 💜🌴💜
That tree reminds me of an old hanging tree. I hope not, maybe a swing was anchored to that big ol outstretched limb. Thanks for your videos. Blessings.
I wonder if the Hamby marker at 08:00 is placed diagonally to the plot because it's marking the husband's grave on one side and the wife's on the other; an effort to save money using one menorial.
Hi guys, roughly how old is the tree & what sort is it please. So nice to see an old cemetery fairly well kept. Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺🐨❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You all ever poked around on the old Central Of Georgia location in Macon, Ga? There was an entire industrial and residential complex "on the other side of the tracks" before it was torn down in the name of Urban renewal, then nothing ever put there... poked around there on the old Taylor Iron Works location for Jonathan W, and thought this is something more up you all's alley!
Thanks for the tour. Very well down, heartfelt. ? Where is this graveyard? Can you include the name and city in the title in your videos? Can you add site info/credits at the beginning? Thank you.
So Robert correct if I'm wrong but do I see that you and sidestep adventures are part of the Discovery + programming. The reason I say that is I see their logo on part of your YourTube listings. If so let me be the first to Congratulate you and if not daydreaming of things to come. Sandy
Never mind and I do apologize my I looked back and saw my mistake it was a dum advertisement for discovery and I closed it down but their logo stayed there now I feel like a complete idiot
I have a thought around rubbings and/or brushing the invasive material off an old gravestone...That possibly it should be done ONLY if the resulting information will be posted for a historical record so that the information isn't lost. Of course not for "fun" though, that information dismissed when the "trip" is over because the delicate stone can be damaged further....If the information on the stone will be lost in short time, sometimes a rubbing or cleaning if documented for posterity could be okay? But amateur folks looking for something to do should definitely be discouraged. What you post is definitely preserving history. When the grave has ultimately "melted" due to elements, we have your videos preserving what they said.

Maybe his knees are better. Used some of Grandpa’s ointment.
Really awesome to see an older cemetery being maintained!! Thanks dueling Robert's for sharing such a treasure. ☺️👍
Robert and Robert 👍🏻 I love that tree absolutely beautiful ❤️❤️
Huge old tree! I find it fascinating that a lot of people buried here lived thru the Civil War. Love to have heard their stories.
Thanks, Roberts! Very interesting and beautiful old cemetery. So much history unknown. Can’t wait for your 2nd video❣️
Looks like it was fairly well kept. Looking forward to part 2. Hope your having good weather, in my part of my Texas it’s snowing and 32 degrees
Cold here! Sunny. But cold.

Those rock tombs- It must be a southern thing. I've never seen anything like that up here in Jersey. Cool cemetery. I love cemeteries.
I am really enjoying this series. Thank you so much for taking us along! Here in Ohio it's pretty cold and dreary. You are making us feel better!
at time stamp 8:45 there was a little fenced in area with a head stone...hope you go back and show that one in part 2!
Makes you wonder if this cemetery is kept up because it is so visible. Beautiful old stones.
Whenever I see trees growing over old graves, I can't help but think of Roger Williams, the founder of Rhode Island. It is believed that an apple tree's root consumed his body and took on his body's shape. The root is currently on display at Brown University in the John Brown House.
I googled it as well. Interesting thanks for sharing.
That's crazy. 😳
Nice kept Cemetary still have 1800's people. They should be all upkept like this.
I think the V is actually half of a W as below. They started on the wrong line.
Wow Robert it is so nice to see the Sun and hear the birds. Really nice cemetery tour. Great job as always 🔍🔦🌞🚙
That was fabulous thanks Robert. Thanks for taking me along. Please stay safe and take care
Thank you Robert and Robert.... u r both Great explorers. And I thank you

I love the wrought iron fences and I am hooked on Side Step Adventures! The respect that is shown is so amazing and the epitaphs so touching.

Great video and love the info you found on them Thankyou for sharing it and look forward to part 2
Beautiful old tree! The stamped headstones are very interesting, and probably will last a long time.
That is such a pretty cemetery . Nice to see care has been taken that it remains that way. That 1st gate you showed must have been common at one time as I remember one just like that on our yard way back. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤
We had a gate like that when I was a kid. I’m 67 now
Idk why I'm so addicted to you guys' videos, especially the cemetery ones.
Ha !! The fire ants must of been hibernating. When Robert Greenshirt was brushing off one of the graves inside the fence, I kept saying “ Be careful, be careful ! “
This was a great video. I love old country cemeteries. I go as often as I can. Just found your channel recently and love it. Thanks so much.
Beautiful cemetery💟 Love that wrought iron fence. Very ornate
The Sleepy Hollow Tree. Gotta love the other Robert.
I think Side Step Adventures is my absolute favorite to WATCH!! ALWAYS such interesting videos! I've been away a MINUTE so I'm seeing if I missed anything and if SO then what! Lol loving the Adventure Frm afar in Florida!! 💜🌴💜

I love that big beautiful tree.
Many Tolers are here in VA.
Awesome video guys. I am anxiously awaiting the next part.
Great old tree❤
Dona’s epitaph was probably my favorite ever.
Agreed.
Great video. So glad this one is kept up.
Other Robert, how about some biscuits and gravy? I'm a super cook. Forgot to tell you guys, this is a great video. Thank you so much.
Great, looking forward to Part 2
That is a wicked looking tree.
Those rock tombs have to be incredibly old.
Great video. Love from Australia. Xx
Love this! Can’t wait for the rest. Wish we know where this was located.
Ok done subscribe 🤗🤗
Great content 👍👍 keep it up
Looked up steward iron works. Pretty cool still around
Beautiful
My favorite Roberts X 2 !!! 💚✌
I wonder if the Hamby marker at 08:00 is placed diagonally to the plot because it's marking the husband's grave on one side and the wife's on the other; an effort to save money using one menorial.
That movie was Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp. It was completly filmed on location in England t Levenson Studios...
That was very fascinating. Poor babys. That have no name on them. Thank you Both Roberts. Was Cody with you? Beautiful Cemetery.
Hi guys, roughly how old is the tree & what sort is it please. So nice to see an old cemetery fairly well kept. Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺🐨❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
All the mystery.....i like it

As always enjoyed very much. I still don’t understand those rock graves. Are the people in deep in the ground or just under the rocks?
They are deep in the ground.
1940. America is still suffering from the Great Depression. The poured, embossed concrete slabs were what they could afford.
Thanks for the tour. Very well down, heartfelt.
?
Where is this graveyard? Can you include the name and city in the title in your videos? Can you add site info/credits at the beginning? Thank you.
I just watched Sleepy Hollow last night. Coincidences do happen.
awesome
The V looks like they started to put Willam there and realized they were to high and would run into another sentence
Have u ever stopped at any cemerties with historical makers signs that tell u somebody of intresting is buried there?
At the rock tombs, are the people buried underground?
Yes
beautiful
I think the rock tombs are Scottish cairns. The lichen on the children's stone tombs almost looks like flowers.
i'm thinking the V is part of the W from "Which" but they misplaced the typeset at first.
There is a lor of stewart company fencing
Looks like headstone is positioned to the east for the rising of the sun maybe? Also I’ve heard kin folks of Jimmy Carter are buried in this cemetery.
Will u have video on January 14 it be my birthday hope u could do it in Fredericksburg Texas is where my grandfather buried
I lived in Fredericksburg for eight years. The cemeteries were my favorite of Gillespie County.
Why don't I get a notification for your video's. I have my bell on?
I don’t know??
Hello from Omaha Nebraska
I am in Bellevue Nebraska, 👋
@@claraholcomb3421👋
Well kept except let tree grow through fence?
Wow
So Robert correct if I'm wrong but do I see that you and sidestep adventures are part of the Discovery + programming.
The reason I say that is I see their logo on part of your YourTube listings.
If so let me be the first to Congratulate you and if not daydreaming of things to come.
Sandy
Nope. Dunno why that would be on there??
Never mind and I do apologize my I looked back and saw my mistake it was a dum advertisement for discovery and I closed it down but their logo stayed there now I feel like a complete idiot
Looks like The stones are stacked so be very old
Cemeteries used to have personality, just like the people resting there.
No, that is a creepy tree. Say it with me, "Creeee-peee." It's like nature's "Keep Out" sign.
Beee-uuuu-tee-full tree. 😉
Not creepy beautiful!!
I wish you tell where the grave are at

Bob and Re-Bob! 😂
Hello Roberts
It's been 101years after Martha died!
How was Hendrix spelled???
Look now old that tree is
Those graves aren’t very old compared to those around me in the northeast.
Well this part of Georgia wasn’t settled really until 1828, so.... that would be why.
