Water Bird Photography - Tufted Duck (Irish Wildlife)

The Tufted Duck is such an interesting bird, with its yellow eyes and purple tones they make for an interesting subject to photograph. I got lucky and managed to get the images I wanted.
Images taken with the Sigma 150 - 600mm (C) along with the Nikon Z6 ii.

hey i shoot with the exact same setup just that i use the 150-600mm sport instead of the contemporary. however, i cant seem to get as sharp photos as you do. i use a ss of about 1/2000, an aperture between 5 and 6.5 and auto iso. do u zoom up to 600mm or keep it lower most of the time?

@@seanmeadewildlife You should come up to dundalk some weekend we are restoring an old famine graveyard and we have an old abandonded quarry beside it with buzzards flying around it 5-6 at any one time and kesterals i was told before and so much wildlife, A91E76N location if your interested in visiting the area for some photos
