The joy for your sweater design absolutely translates ☀️ Thank you for all of the thoughtful and inspiring videos you've continued to share throughout 2024, and wishing you happy holidays and a wonderful new year!
Thanks Lily - what a delightful podcast ! I love your new pattern and just as much your great joy in it ! - it looks like a charming design which I will patiently wait for. I share many of your podcast likes - especially Nicole - the 'Gentle Knitter' who I was also so happy to see in that recent interview. There is no doubt in my mind now that we do not have to meet someone in person to feel admiration for, and connection and empathy with. This online 'knitted together' world of artists and crafters is a huge exemplar of all this ! Hope you have a delightful holiday ! Best wishes from Western Australia.
I'm looking forward to knitting the Pohjola Pullover by Sari Nordland, which has a beautiful colorwork yoke! Such a lovely podcast and Happy Holidays! ❤
LOVE your sweater design. I actually have been searching for a simple sweater with a cable on the raglan. Excited to learn about a new (for me) construction. Can’t wait to see the final!!
thanks for sharing your home decos and outside vids lovely sweater you are wearing wishing you and yours a great festive season and a good 2025 keep taking care xxxxx
Lapwing by Marie Wallin has had my eye for a while though being a small-sized human I have to think carefully about how I style “pretty” or “decorated” garments. She has so many designs I would love to knit though know I would never wear but the chart for Chestnut on a sofa cushion may scratch the itch I’ve been feeling. Happy holidays - I hope they are filled with joy and memory making of the richest kind.
Ah yes! Can I do more Marie Wallin?! Thanks so much for your note, and the Chestnut is such a fun and unique design, and I can’t wait to see what you do!
Very grateful for your color palette inspiration on the Celeste Sweater. I started it shortly after your Oct 5th podcast. I don't think I would have attempted it otherwise, and now its my absolute favorite knit garment ever! Another colorwork pullover I made this year was the 'Model May' by Hanne Rimmen. (also inspired by another youtuber who made a great version of it, Orsa Makes ). The colorwork pattern reminds me of an old-fashioned wrought iron fence/gate with spiky tips. Have a great holiday!
one of my favorites is the celeste sweater by Petite knits and the Lunenburg Pullover by Amy Christoffers. Thank you for taking the time to make your podcasts. They are always such an inspiration.
I loved your "vlog"! So fun to see your gallery and little glimpses of the bay area. I used to live in SF years ago and I always enjoy seeing and hearing about the area. I'm excited to see your new sweater pattern progress and especially like hearing about your process of designing and writing it. Is it possible to knit it without the cable? Hope you have a wonderful, relaxing holiday ❤
What are your favorite color-work sweaters these days? I'm missing stranded color work on my needles, and dreaming of some color-changing yarn patterns for 2025--let me know your recs!
