You look great with red hair. It really makes your eye color pop. Also I'm glad that you're feeling better. You're incredibly strong. It took me so much time to even say outloud that my ex and I broke up, let alone be able to talk about it Edit: I've just noticed that you've had red hair for months 😭
13:10 omg I've been saying this for years. I was the forever single friend. Watching people fall in and out of relationships made it clear to me at a young age that friendships can often be the most stable places for us. I highly recommend a book called Radical Intimacy which is all about human relationships and how we can reimagine them for the future. Honestly the way our culture worships romantic love is really unhealthy. Anyway, love the videos and I'm also loving my Cheex subscription so thanks for putting me onto that 😊
omg i didn’t watch the previous episode, i’m sorry to hear about your breakup Jordan! sucks bad but love that you already have so many plans, that’s the way forwards🫶🏻love the pod and main channel girl xx
as an uncultured american, there are definitely times when i literally don't understand your references or know who you are talking about lol. but i love listening regardless.
Don’t love that you’re going through a hard time but I just turned 25 and was dumped by my FIANCÉ of nearly 5 years so it’s so healing to have my favourite influencer going through something similar and talking about it 🥲
So glad you had the best time at Glasto! Deffo try to get in on the Weds, totally worth it as you can spend the whole day walking around the site. I went and I wish I saw you!
i hope your transition to living on your own (though still supported by a roommate) goes well! going back to being on your own is difficult. it seems like you're already getting things figured out just fine, but don't be afraid to ask for help💖 i've yet to go to any type of festival, but i loved hearing about it through you! i hope you get to go again next year!! wonderful pod as always
It's good to hear you talk about not loving living alone so much. Everyone on the internet seems to just love solitude but even as an introvert I still find it dreadful to be in my quiet house alone all the time. Also I would loove to see you on a documentary Jordan
hi jordan, absolutely loved the glasto debrief, have already watched this video twice now!!! I know you said it was boring but i loved hearing about your experience and i just truly love the way you talk to your audience like we're friends 🩷 its so homely. im reading dolly alderton's memoir at the moment and it really makes me think of you!!! Id honestly love to read a book by you like this. hope youre well considering all your recent life events, a lot of people out there adore you ♡xx
the thing with assisted communication is that even if we assume that he was totally consenting and was in love with her it would still be inappropriate because of her potential power over him!
In the same boat as you babe. Just got out of a 3 year relationship with 2 years of living together. We broke up. Then on moving day when I left that apartment I CRIED all day. So many memories. It’s ok to be emotional and cry at the drop of a hat ❤
Top banana is prob Gen X or elder millenial speak, I'm 35 and it was more said by teachers who were trying to be cool, friends' dads etc. Your friend must be an old soul! It's along the lines of "great stuff", "nice one" or a verbal thumbs up. Which I guess is geezerish for "slay", but I'd never thought of it that way - so your translation had me cackling!
Omg this just unlocked a core memory. My class teacher in year 3 (who was banging my mum which was mortifying) had a "Top Banana" stamp to mark our work if we did well. He ghosted my mum and ran off to Borneo without saying bye, I did not anticipate thinking about that man or his banana this evening
30 applications per property 😭 as someone from Dublin where application numbers are in the hundreds AND LESS THINGS TO DO IN THE CITY COMPARED TO LONDON… might have to move
I want to leave this comment for people who don't have conventional friendships or have friends from school/college or more traditional social situations etc. 💖 I am quite disappointed at how Jordan worded what she discussed about familial love. I feel as though she depicted it as an automatic/passive form of connection in an off the cuff manner. Jordan is more than entitled to her own opinion but words have power especially on the Internet. Everyone has different experiences socially/in life. You don't know what others are going through and I feel more sensitivity should of been implemented into what was such a crass oversimplification. Familial love can be really important to ALOT of people and isn't necessarily a "they have to" kind of love. I feel that familial love is more conscious than we realise. Friendships can be toxic and unhealthy- is all luck of the draw. The only relevant platonic love isn't just friendships. It can be love for life, pets, your hobbies, job or neighbour and last but not least- familial love 💓 Yes friendships can be important but as I said- life is different for everyone. I just want to make sure that whatever your GENUINE support network is- IT IS VALID! This is coming from a place of care and kindness 🌼
We love you girl. You are to me, the Jeremy Corbyn of video essays x
this may be the best comment i have ever received in my life xxxx

i’m a straight millennial and i’ve never heard anyone say top banana ever in my life 😭😭 (but i’m american so that might have something to do with it)
