    This is just me being me but I highly recommend that you buy a set of car ramps and put one under each tire. Drive up them, jack up the car and slide one under each wheel.... however you choose to do it but it litterly terrifies me to see you car hanging in the air like that.
    $40 for a set of ramps. They could save your life and your life is worth over $40 right.
    You take good care of your car. Extra cautious with early oil changes ...isn't it true.
    Than let's be a little extra cautious crawling under that car.
    Get the ramps. Apply parking brake. Scotch rear tires. You can't be to safe when it comes to your life.

    Hey how many containers of oil do you buy? It’s my first time changing and I’m a little lost

      I do 5 quarts of Mobil 1 and K&N oil filter and I use 5w30 just because it’s turbo and gets hotter so to keep temps lower I use a thicker viscosity.

    Hey great video, question though where is the OIL SWITCH located? Is it easy to change?

    • @nestormacias9951
      @nestormacias9951  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Never heard or an oil switch. But I’ll look into it. What does the switch supposed to do?

      Im guessing your talking about the oil pressure sensor?

      @@elcantu3344 no problem. If you have the 3.8 you have to remove the upper and lower manifold and should be in the middle of the engine block

    Do you use syntactic oil. My 2013 ATS-4 uses it. My filter is also located on top instead of bottom.

      @nestormacias9951  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes always synthetic brotha. Conventional oil will break down faster and seals tend to leak with it with time. But did t know your oil filter is on top good to know thanks! 👍🏼

    how you get the air intake on and did it give you a engine light

    • @nestormacias9951
      @nestormacias9951  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Are you asking because im Cali? And doesn’t let you buy here? I bought it from someone that had moved from Nevada. And no I did not get a check engine light on. Also, keep your stock intake. So when you have to smog. And also had a test pipe and just swapped it for the Cat and just swapped it for smog

    K&n isn't best quality buddy. They are all the same. Same with oil brands. Made in same factory

      Everyone has their opinion.. they’ve done the job for me for the past 16 years I’ve drove and done all my maintenance using K&N oil filters I’m sure their is better but it’s just what I use . 👍🏼
