No berth is given to already established cricket teams. 2. T20 World Cup with 24 teams: Qualification is based on the ranking, and the top 24 teams make it to the T20 World Cup. 3. ODI World Cup with 14 teams: The top 14 ranked teams qualify for the ODI World Cup. 4. Test World Cup with just 8 teams: This should be the most prestigious event in cricket. Event timings: - Test World Cup every 6 years - ODI World Cup every 5 years - T20 World Cup every 4 years - T10 World Cup every 2 years T10 and T20 status should be granted to every country. However, when it comes to ODI, if any team qualifies but doesn't hold ODI status, they must beat ODI status teams. For Test qualification, they will need to beat three teams if they fail to secure their qualification. If they don't manage to do so, their qualification will be given to the status team with a better ranking.
