    One of the most basic rules of law practice: never take a case in which you have emotional attachment and/or any interests other than professional ones.
    It clouds whatever decision-making abilities one might have, shortens any argumentation skills and usually leads to emotion-based choices.
    I usually like Mike's ingenuity but he really should have kept Harvey as lead counsel. Harvey's cold demeanor and tendency to lean towards his rational rather than emotions would have ultimately proven better, as proven in the end of this arc.

    • @RoryVanBeek

      Mike's whole reasoning for wanting to represent himself was so he could testify without actually testifying. If he was actually testifying, he would be sworn in, and would have to admit to being a fraud.

    The prosecution can easily check with Harvard.
    Don't universities keep records of their students, fees paid for each student, attendance records, exam results etc.
    All information is easily archived, so I can't understand why they don't just ask the university. Can someone explain why they dont use this simple solution?

    • @yondaimehokage697
      @yondaimehokage697 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because they hacked into the harvad alumni database (a client's daughter did it as a favour to mike when he helped her mend her relationship with her father). So even if they checked the database they could have found out that mike's info is there. But it wouldn't matter as Anita was tipped off by Shiela (Who is an employee and a representative for Harvard in the real world).
      I mean you can't find logic in a fictional series. You will find plotholes so you can just be oblivious, kick back and enjoy the show. Life is much more blissful that way😂

    • @Do_not_assume
      @Do_not_assume 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@yondaimehokage697 Harvard can also check the exam papers written by each student for each exam. I'm sure there's a way of finding out that he's a fraud. So are you saying that I could get a Harvard degree if I was able to hack into Harvard's database? And I live in a remote village in India with only my cell phone for internet. There must be a paper trail somewhere.

    When I first saw this, I didn't see the beginning when he came to his apartment, so I thought Harvey was trying to expose him and made me confused. When I saw the full version of this episode, I now realize why Harvey came at mike like this. This is exactly the way Gibbs would approach him, not by the exact words of Harvey but by Gibbs demeaner and attitude in prosecuting mike.

  • @t3chn070
    @t3chn070 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    That part where Harvey reads off the paper that none of the graduating class knows Mike is honestly completely rendered moot by the fact that Mike apparently only went up for tests. They'd have only seen him a handful of times and he wouldn't exactly be making himself super well known by going in, keeping his head down in his test, and then leaving. Based on Mike's story which in the "trial" is said way before that note is even brought up, that note is irrelevant.
