As a Vikings fan, Bills have always been my guilty AFC team. Both have similar franchises and fan base. And more importantly, both have 4 super bowl appearances with 4 super bowl losses. Could y'all imagine a Bill vs Vikings super bowl? Knowing regardless of who wins, history would be made.
Granted, as a Vikings fan, I know this would never happen. But dawg, the thought alone is enough as is.
Same here. I’m a Vikings fan who saw Josh Allen coming in 2019. I couldn’t understand that hate directed at him. It made no sense at all, which he proved beyond a shadow of a doubt.
I am just glad my Seahawks are in the top 10 hopefully we can shock everyone with a win on Monday.
Detroit will be a good measuring stick to see where Seattle is so far this season. Should be an exciting, hopefully wild game. These guys always seem to make it fun when they play each other.
The Seahawks have had our number lately. Hopefully that changes Monday.
As a Chiefs fan I'm not the least bit upset. The game's with the Chiefs and the Bills are ALWAYS down to the wire, sitting on the edge of your seat, need extra blood pressure medicine kind of game's. Nothing but respect for the Bills and josh Allen. I think someone saying he's the most overated...was just trying to poke a competitive side of Josh Allen. We'll see them in the playoffs.
Why can't all Chiefs fans be like you
Good chiefs fan 😊
Agree completely. It isn't that Kansas City has Buffalo's number, as games truly are always down to the wire, with the last games coming down to overtime, an interception, a fourth down stand, and a missed field goal. Bills and Kansas City gave the best record over each other, and both teams know what to expect. As a Bills fan, I hope our win finally comes in the post season, but we all know that neither team will have any finger nails left by the end of it! What a shame that we are in the same conference, as a Buffalo KC Super Bowl would be magical.
@@quinnjackson9252 AGREED!! IF JOSH ALLEN WAS IN THE NFC...HE WOULD OWN IT!!! Both QB's are gifted, it's constant score changes. If you just love the game of football the Chiefs/Bills game is the one to watch. I've just got to see highlights of the Bills so far but it looks like Josh and the guys are really enjoying playing. So happy for you guys!!
@@quinnjackson9252buffalo doesn’t not have Kansas City’s number literally 0-3 against them in the playoffs
The Great White Buffalo has to be One.Unfortunately cause I'm a Fins Fan.
"Great white buffalo...."
Honestly, I don't think even the most die hard Bills fan was expecting us to hold the Dolphins to just 10 points, and I had the Bills winning this game. Hope Tua is okay, Bills fans know what it's like to see scary injuries, not to mention it is so much more fun to play healthy teams, although that is an afterthought when worrying about health.
Relax people! This is only week 4!
I guess as long as you keep the track of which week it is in the NFL, you have your boilerplate comment ready to go for the rest of the season. Lol
Rich might say "It's my list" but he was in obvious physical pain including the Seahawks on the list. I mean how many times did he say "I had to include a 3-0 team"?
Bleh. Packers better be 11. Winning with their backup. Tells you the TEAM is good.
@@tervalas packers are 3rd. Vikes are 11th.
@danielokeeffe6358, who have the Packers beat that are even decent? You can talk like this if they beat the Vikings who should be ranked number 1. The Bills haven't beaten anyone either and the Cheifs are hot garbage so far this year.

I'm not saying the packers aren't looking good, especially with a backup, but they did lose to the only decent team they've played(with their starter). So how could they possibly be ranked above the Vikings?
Just started the video... THE VIKINGS BETTER BE ON THIS THING!!!!
I would’ve bailed for good if not. The disrespect in the media is too much.
@Cvweare I know it's just Rich Eisens list but seeing the Vikes at #3 has me so happy! It's still too early to know for sure but I am hyped for this season!!!

Before the season started I would have said Vikings are 4th in NFC North.
I just watched Florio's power rankings. It was a joke, he had the Lions at #4, the Packers at #5, the Eagles at #6 and the Vikings at #7. Three teams with a loss over the Vikings. Even if the Vikings beat the Packers this week some of the so called experts will still have the Packers ahead of the Vikings next week. I don't care, keep on doubting them it will just make them play harder.
Ardent Chiefs fan, but you're not wrong. Bills look really good. Chiefs will be OK tho.
Bills were not even on his list to start the season, and here we are! Respect to Rich for putting Buffalo 1st cos they are playing complete ball right now
If they lost next week and the chiefs win this is gonna look stupid
@@razkable Well, but I mean, if I understand the power rankings, it's how things are feeling now, and as a Chiefs fan (life long) who is ecstatic to be 3-0, I don't feel like they're up to where they need to be/should be, so I think it makes sense, but yeah, it could all change next week, of course.
@@razkable That's why his list changes each week lol, it's totally fine.

@@christophermoss812 Yeah, I'll accept that point. I haven't seen any of the Bills games and don't remember the highlights (haven't watched this week's highlights of them but plan to), but the Chiefs are definitely over a huge hump in the season. I think we could easily be 0-3 playing these three teams, especially CIN and BAL, but ATL, too, to a lesser extent.
Some people never learn😂
When was the last time the Chiefs lost
Christmas Day of 2023
would've been last week if it weren't for the refs, that team gets saved every time
@@pretzelsandgasjets yes it’s all rigged. Ridiculous. I do agree that should have been called the against Chiefs against Falcons late. But name me another that saved the chiefs? Bengals this year? Appropriate call. Eagles Super Bowl? Appropriate call. I do think a hold/DPI got missed against Baltimore in AFC championship game, but there were multiple calls missed against Ravens in that game. The point is that there are missed calls against both teams on every single game played in this league. You just hate the chiefs and want them to lose at all cost…even if is wrong. I think you also suffer, as many go, with recency bias. You remember the most recent call in a game, such as the one against the Falcons that should have been called against the Chiefs, but you gloss over the fact that the Chiefs were penalized more in that game than the Falcons. Were the refs helping the Chiefs then? Or, were they just saving it up for the crucial time on the game? If that play was clean, and Atlanta scored and won (which we don’t know if the Chiefs would have won at the end or not), what would your argument be then, since the Chiefs would still have been penalized more than the Falcons. If all the people that believe it’s rigged or the refs purposely make calls to help the Chiefs realized how ridiculous a conspiracy theory that large would take to actually pull off, they would make more intelligent posts.
They're the Kansas City Swifties!!! Stop using the chiefs name, it offends native Americans and Taylor Swift is the main attraction anyhow lol
@@SycoticForeverNeverAF anyone else won more than that? Chiefs still #1 until their not.
The strength of victories is a criminally underrated element of the power rankings.

9:05. Keep in mind, the Bills and Steelers held a joint practice before the season started. That WASNT a coincidence. The Steelers have 26 PA through three games. The best offense in the league and the best defense in the league looking to elevate both their games? 🤔
That is a fantastic point and should have more likes. That could be partially responsible for Buffalo's great early offensive successes and Pittsburg's early defensive successes. Both the Bills offense and Steeler's defense look incredibly disciplined, like they've been there done that, low penalties and high performance.
Bryce Young Panthers looked comfy with the Jets, what does that mean?
The reason why the Bills are so good is because they finally have what they have been lacking in recent years- enough reliable weapons and a creative OC. Joe Brady has matched Brian Daboll's creativity, calling plays that get the ball to a number of weapons, rather than the Dorsey game plan of just throwing the ball to Diggs or Davis into three defenders 80 yards down field, leading to three interceptions per game. While Diggs is a big play maker and great rout runner, and this team would be better with someone of his talent on it, relying on Diggs and Diggs alone is not a recipe for success. In previous years, the only consistently reliable targets Allen had were Diggs and Knox. Davis had good and bad days, McKenzie was unreliable, Beasley ran out of juice, and Hardy just couldn't really find a place in the offense. Now, however, the Bills have several very reliable sets of hands. Knox, Kincaid, Shakir, Coleman, Cook, Samuel, all very solid and reliable play makers. Even MVS is a major upgrade to his counterparts in previous years. In previous years, teams knew that Diggs was the number one target that Allen wanted to find, so taking him away would disrupt things and force the ball to be put in harms way to an unreliable target. Now, there is no unreliable target to force the ball to. If nobody is open, Allen is comfortable throwing the ball away, or if everything goes south, running for a big gain himself. He doesn't need to rely on the big flashy play to Diggs to win the game, as defenses cannot possibly take away every single player. If the ball is thrown to any one of those guys, they will reliably catch it. One turnover due to first game jitters on the season so far, and only a handful of punts. This is an offense that can make a team die by a thousand cuts, and I am excited to see how they hold up against the best defenses in the league. The O-line has shrugged off some good pass rushers, and carved up the man to man scheme the Jaguars put in place. A Kansas City or Steelers defense will be a completely different beast, however, so the lack of a super star like Diggs may be felt in a game with more skilled defensive players all around. Regardless, the Bills do look like the most complete team in the NFL- it's just too bad that their Super Bowl window has closed!
Yaaaaaaassss! Downgrade the Chiefs. FUEL!!!!!
No packers, figures.
Probably cause no love...he means right now this week whose the best...unless you think malik is beating the vikings
I think it is because they won two with a backup. I think if they win again this week with a backup, they might be on, and this is coming from a non-Packers fan.
Who have they beat?
Bad teams with 2 young bad qbs.
Preseason everyone said the Steelers would be last in their division. How quickly seeing that D play changes things!
I could see the Steelers > Texans because of our pass rushers. But chiefs, bills, > Steelers
Bills for sure, but Chiefs? They have not been looking great.
Nah Texans would dominate the Steelers
As a Bills fan, I am glad that we don't have to play the Steelers. Steelers are the reason why our season ended last year, they just hammered our already decimated defense. No way we lose against KC if we don't get banged up in that game... even still, we lost due to a missed field goal. This year we are a lot better depth and youth wise, but still banged up. I still think we would win that game, but it would be a slug fight I wish to avoid.
@@quinnjackson9252 I agree, you guys are very similar to us in being the physical team but man Josh Allen looked superhuman out there against us I’ll never forget you guys sending us home last year. Chiefs fan here. Dropping the Chiefs one is fair at this point. I anticipate they will move back up, and sooner rather than later.
Chiefs fan here and yea it is fair but the bills don’t deserve the top spot, it should be the Vikings. Look at who they have actually played and you will see outta the chiefs, bills and Vikings the Vikings have played the better teams and have a dominant win over the Texans. At this point in the season you gotta give them their flowers
Chefs and Refs deserve 2nd spot. Viking fans are patient.
@@rfitzpatrick723 I would love to see these teams all at the top of their divisions in January - if we see some of this in the playoffs, I'll be watching every game. Can you imagine week 2 of the playoffs being some matchups of Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Houston, and KC in the AFC and Minnesota, Seattle, Washington or Philly, and who cares from the NFC south?
Vikings look good, but Texans clearly just had a terrible game-it happens. I think that the Texans, come the post season, will be a dangerous team to play against. They can be rattled, but are definitely a very talented team capable of doing big things.
The reason why the Bills deserve the top spot is that they don't have an elite WR. They don't have a guy who you know will get the ball on third and long- which is why it is so terrifying that they are the highest scoring offense in the NFL. How do you stop an offense that throws the ball to someone else who will reliably catch it every single time? Cook, Davis, Samuel, Coleman, Knox, Kincaid, Shakir, MVS, etc, are all making big plays. Defenses simply cannot take away all of those options consistently, and on the rare occasion everyone is covered, Allen can just take it himself. Not to mention this elite O-line, which has shut down some very good pass rushers consistently, and made some great run blocks. Dion Dawkins is so good that he blocked his way into an ineligible man down field call, breaking the Jags D-line and finding himself downfield. The guy is just too good. Even Kansas City or Pittsburg's defenses are going to struggle with covering everyone on this team, and the Bills will make plays.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Bills have lots of injuries, but backups are playing at such a high level that they have let up just two touchdowns in the last two games. The Bills top three players have all been out injured, and yet Sean McDermott, the best defensive coach in the NFL, has managed to coach up backups so well that the untrained eye would never even notice their absence. This defense will only get better too, as none of these injuries have season ending, knock on wood. Miami held to ten points could be a fluke, but a talented Jaguars team also held to ten? That's a damn good defense through three weeks. Yes, it is a long season, but so far, there isn't a team in the devision that this Bills team doesn't look like it can't go toe to to with.
@@rfitzpatrick723yeah but no one really believes the Vikings will keep this up.

and you "experts" all had Caleb Williams going to the Super Bowl this year
I know. Just remember, last year the Huskies beat Caleb so badly that he went crying to his mama.
Rich is the best and taking the Niners off the list is realistic because their luck ran out with all those A-listers out and the backups leave much to be desired. Go Niners? Except Juan Jennings who should have been WR 1 all along. CMC out KITTLE out DEEBO out...and HARGRAVE out for the season.
Yup, can't rank half a team. Love seeing Purdy, Mason, and Jennings fighting hard though.
The resident Patriot fan saying the Steelers would beat the Chiefs shocks exactly nobody.
Yeah I can't really see that- KC has a great defense too, and a better offense. Steelers defense can only do so much if their offense can't score.
The Bills are the same every year. This is exactly what it was like last year and 2022 & 2021...etc. They show how great they can be early in the season and all the talking heads crown them as the best team. Then as the season progresses they faulter until once the playoffs arrive they don't have the spark they need to go the distance. Last season they had to beat the Dolphins in the final week to clinch their division. The Ravens and Chiefs had their divisions locked up well before that point. The same is going to happen this year. They start off hot and become a struggle bus later.
That isn't true at all. Last year, the Bills performed horribly during the middle of the season, as the Ken Dorsey offensive scheme of "Just rip the ball 80 yards down field into triple coverage" didn't work. We fired him, and the offense got way better. The Bills then went on to only lose to the Eagles for the rest of the regular season, and they only lost that game due to an atrocious string of calls, most notably the one where the refs called Josh Allen for a fantom intentional grounding penalty on a throw that hit Gabe Davis in the leg, and only did so because he was illegally horse collar tackled. We only lost in the playoffs due to a missed field goal, one which the game shouldn't have come down to either, as the Bills entire defense was injured. Seriously, the Bills defense was stocked with the 5th and 6th string cornerbacks and 6th and 7th string linebackers, not even exaggerating. Oh yeah, and the Bills were the 2 seed last season, coming back to clinch a much more competitive division than KC has ever been a part of.
In fact, the only season where the Bills played their worse football in the playoffs is the 2022-23 season, where the Dorsey offense couldn't do anything right, and the defense was still rattled from the Damar Hamlin cardiac arrest incident. 2021 was the complete opposite of what you say, with the Bills playing the best games in Buffalo history at the end of the season, including the thrashing of the Patriots in the wild card round, where the Bills scored seven touchdowns in seven possessions against a Bill Belichick defense, something no team has ever done before, and that insane game against KC which actually led to the NFL changing the rules to give the other team a chance to get the ball in overtime.
acting like the bills crushing a crappy jags defense is something to gloat about. Bills did exactly what any team should have done in that spot. Jags have looked terrible since the back half of last season.
There is more to it than that. The Bills have had lots of weird losses to the Jags, and the fact that they just ignored that weird history and won easily against a flawed, but still quite talented Jags team is pretty impressive. They went and scored 34 points in the first half, holding the Jaguars to just 10 points, just like they held the Dolphins to 10 points the week before. Its less about the Jags troubles and more about the fact that the Bills showed it wasn't a fluke that they came back to beat the Cardinals and demolished the Dolphins, and they are capable of repeating that performance. I agree, it is a long season, but 3-0 is 3-0, which makes a playoff spot far more likely. The Ravens, Texans, and Jets are all trickier teams, so the next three will really test the Bills, show us what they're made of. Bills beat the Ravens, it seems like the worst case scenario for them is going 11-6, while losing this game would raise questions. Regardless, it is going to be an interesting few weeks!
No Packers after having a backup QB take 2 W's, showing how strong this team really is?! I'll accept this since ya put Bills over Chiefs.
Oh look, Buffalo is off to a typical hot start and as usual people are crowning them before they lose in the playoffs again.

@@Artemis49 I agree about the defense, but no creativity or disguise in the scheme? Did you watch the touchdown plays? That's all X's and O's dude.
@@nathanchildress5596 I’m solely talking about the defense. The offense is fine, Shanahan does his thing no matter what RBs and WRs are out there. No imagination whatsoever.

Chris, strength of victory? In 3 games Buffalo has outscored their adversaries 112 to 48 and that includes Miami who everyone said would win the AFC East this year.

Chuck Norris knows ball
Yeah but the Texans played like crap and Kansas City could very easily be 0-3. These three teams are definitely the top three teams at this point, and it remains to be seen what they can really do.
Love my AFC #1 seed Steelers DEF! But, the way Josh Allen is playing...man, it is hard to say he'll lose a single elimination game right now.
Steelers are also a part of that “who have they really beaten”
Not now, but wait till it really matters!
The bills beat three tomato cans and rich thinks they accomplished something.
Right! Vikings crushed Texans, by Rich’s logic they should be #1 and I say this as a chiefs fan.
I mean the Dolphins definitely weren't tomato cans going in, and the comeback win was pretty impressive, but even if they were tomato cans, three dominant performances is three dominant performances. Bills playoff chances went from seemingly low to solid, although these next three games will be a real test, with three solid teams on both sides of the ball. Bills beat the Ravens, they can realistically be expected to go 11-6 worst case scenario, with a real shot at nabbing the one seed. Just saying, late season bye, easy couple games down the stretch, this team has a realistic chance at making a deep playoff run, despite going into this season labeled as tomato cans themselves.

What am I doing on this thread?
Kansas City /Minnesota Vikings
Super Bowl 2024
As a bills fan love this list. I disagree bills would blow out the Steelers.
The Bills would blow them out
@@orphy6869 that’s what I said. I worded it wrong I meant bills would kill the Steelers they’re the best team.
Panthers up to 25 for me. 🏈🏈
Fans are happy to just not be 32 still. I saw the writer on NFL's website be legitimately shocked when he scrolled back to see how long the Panthers had been on the bottom. Good for them!
Bills are playing hot, but they've also played Cardinals, Dolphins mid-injury, and Jaguars. Chiefs have arguabley played harder opponents, but haven't played well. It's a toss-up AFAIC.
That Dolphins game was over before Tua ever got hurt.
I'd argue that the Cardinals are better than their record says right now. They actually have an explosive offense, which destroyed the Rams who beat the 49ers this weak.
If you are going to say the word injury. Bills are missing three of their best on D.
as a 49er fan, it's sad that even with all the injuries, the coach is our weakest link
By coach you better mean Sorensen, otherwise you're delusional. Kyle did plenty well enough for us to be 2-1. All 3 Jennings touchdowns were drawn up beautifully.
Shannahan?
What the HELL are you smoking?
Last week, I thought the Bucs at four was very high. Don't get me wrong, they got embarrassed by a team they should have beaten. But to not include them in the top ten? I wouldn't do it. I think they would beat the Saints, Jets and Seahawks if they played today.
you can think what you want lol make your own list. Saints play bucs soon, so we shall see. We're huting on OL now with our star Center out for a few weeks. Nromally I'd be all over the Saints if McCoy had not got hurt and think we'd ah won tha Eagles game if he had not been knocked out after the third play. I'm not even sure we deserve to be in the top ten but damned certain we played hella lot better than Bucs played the Broncos. Baker looked shell shocked
Three teams at once? They must be great!
@@mycatsherman oh yeah, the best 😂
You know he reads the comments with how he starts this video haha
So, I've got to ask. Who have the Bills really beat? I took a look at their schedule and they've defeated teams who turned out to not be that strong, (Miami, Jacksonville, and I can't remember the other team from week one.)
Cardinals
I see what you are saying, and I get it, but the Bills have dominated all three games, adjusting and readjusting when things have gone wrong. The Bills offense under Ken Dorsey loose that game against the Cardinals, who looked good and got lucky in the first half. The Bills, unlike in previous years, didn't blink when things went badly, and stayed patient to come back and win the game dominantly against a Cardinals team which did actually look pretty good. The Dolphins really aren't a bad team- I think they are better than they were last year- and the Bills walked in and obliterated them on the road, holding them to just 10 points. The game was well and truly over before Tua got hurt, and without that injury, and when Tua comes back, I really don't think the loaded Dolphins are a bad team- the Bills just had answers for everything the Dolphins threw at them. As for the Jaguars, they have talent but no team chemistry, and the Bills domination very easily could have ended their season. The Bills didn't answer all questions, but they sure as hell shut up anyone who doubted their ability to play at a high level. The next three weeks are all against tougher teams, so we will see if they continue to dominate or get pulled a bit farther back down to earth, but as far as week three goes, the Bills sure do look like a solid team. It's not like you can fault them for any major weaknesses- they have an elite QB, elite o-line, the most diverse set of offensive weapons in the NFL, a fantastic defensive coach, an elite cornerback tandem, have performed really well against the run, and have a couple of reliable safeties- all with their three best defensive players injured.
Most picked Fins to win that game, now they suck. Bills curb stomped Miami and Jags before halftime.
Packers 2-1 with a backup QB lol
Actually 2-0 with the b/u 😂 even if it was just the Colts and Titans
Come back when yall beat a team who won't pick in the top 5 next draft lmao
Well it is September. And the Bills are the forever September Champs! But thanks Rich! Chiefs need more bulletin board material 🤣
This gonna be rekt after the Ravens destroy the Bills this week.
One glaring omission who can beat half the teams you have listed with their Backup QB, the PACKERS.
Rich! When the Bill’s beat them like a drum will you keep them top ten? Thanks for giving my Seahawks some props.
Stop being a fan, Rich. The Lions are#9
No consideration for the Packers just because Willis is currently QB?
Let’s see the Chiefs have played the ravens the bengals and the falcons who have the Bills really played?
Lol, but they are consistent. Lol
I'm an Eagles fan and The Saints dropping 7spots because “all they had to do was stop Saqon” is CRAZY!
Packers explode onto this list next week after knocking off number 3.
Heading into week 4. "If ThE pLaYoFfS sTaRtED tO dAY!
how are the packers no on your list? You are high out of your goddamn mind
If Vikings beat Green Bay in Green Bay this Sunday, they should be moved to number one!
Rich is such a shill for the niners its disgusting, such a bias against every other NFC team
Steelers over the 2x defending champs no way, I’m taking the Chiefs all day every day of the week.
It seems like Barbara scared you into putting the bills at #1 😂 go bills
If the sehawks arent NUMBER 4 in the whole league when they win on monday im unsubscribing
Any given Sunday any team can beat another. The chiefs and bills are both capable of beating the Steelers and getting beat. It is way too hard to say. Bills and chiefs get the edge, though, because they have won playoff games. We all know objects in mirror shouldn’t matter but everyone is basing strength of teams on last year’s performance right now and only hesitantly starting to adjust to how horrible some of them are playing this year.
The chiefs barely beat an 0-3 bengals and barely beat the falcons. I would say they deserve to be lower. But we all know they stay high due to the mirror.
Every year rich say "im shouldn't pick against the chiefs" then he does! Also every year, he ends up apologizing lol though the bills are playing good besides the weaker schedule so far
Buffalo will smash Pitt
I thought last week he was a little crazy with how he picked the 2-0 teams. Now he dropped them (as they all lost) and put in the teams that survived to 3-0. Now if the Eagles somehow lose to the badly injured Tampa team, he will be reshuffling again next week.
Bills are built different this year. We are missing 3 super important pieces on defense and we're still crushing it. Watch Josh's face on that drop by Cook, he was laughing! ......Mahomes would have been pissed off, chewing on his tongue ....they always play better when they're having fun.... GO BILLS!
Vikings more impressive than the Bills thus far, Chiefs #1 Vikings #2 Bills top 5 for sure
I’m sorry but packers should be on this list
