- WEEKEND VLOG!!! And this weekend we went a FAMILY TRIP to Montreal (which is essentially Europe hahahah)! I couldn't get over how much it felt like Europe, and how amazing it felt to live what felt like "a normal life" again.

Haha, can't be pretend Europe without rain!! As a Canadian moved to England- it never stops raining, and I always remember Montreal being wet too. Very "European".

Canada really is an amazing country to live in. I have been from one side of the country to the other and each and every place has it's own personality and style. It really does feel strange now when you can all of a sudden do things that for the last year and a half were definite no no's. Someday soon we will forget about how strange it feels now but I hope to remember how good freedom feels and how awesome it is to be able to be with loved ones. Thanks for taking us along on your road trip.

I’ve always wanted a Tesla but stopping so many times for charge makes the entire thing not worth it for me. A drive to LA for me is 7 hours and we stop one time for gas 5 hours in.
I was thinking the same. I live about an hour and a half west of Toronto and getting to Montreal for me would be about 7 hours, now I understand why it took them so long.. that's a no thanks from me.
I mean if you stopped half way for a half hour to get food, use the restroom, or grab snacks then it would be so bad.

I commented last vlog that I was super excited to see your Montreal vlog since it’s my hometown and I haven’t been back because of the pandemic since January 2020. It felt so good seeing the old port.
And then you went to Montebello which is my dads hometown, he passed 5 years ago and you were there for Father’s Day. I believe in subtle signs from the universe and this was it. I got chills, thank you Tara ❤️

I am from Montreal and now live in northern Ontario. I did not realize how much I missed Quebec until I watched this video! We used to spend summers in St. Sauveur. So many great memories. Now I have to go back and visit for sure!

See now I physically cannot make a mess while I pack, because I had OCD and need everything in their specific places or I lose my mind. I also pack the day before which usually helps, because then it's not as stressful 😂

Montreal is where I went for my honeymoon. We stayed a the Hotel Bonaventure. It is a lovely place. Long drive from New Hampshire but worth it! Looks like you had a great time!
its pretty amazing that you can go out and get drinks with your parents and have fun nights like this! we're around the same age and my parents are not in great health and it's always so nice to see your hikes with your dad or shots with your fam lol (and also sad for me cause i wish i had that). enjoy every minute! xx

My favorite band does fan weekends every other year in Montreal and I can't wait to go back next year (had to cancel 2021). There was a Dollarama a block from our hotel, and i brought back a bunch of goofy things from there, like cat toys. You are set for Canada Day now!
